I sat in a chair and looked in the mirror while a makeup artist styled my hair. What was going on... I felt lost. Today I was picking out a dress, so soon I can become married to Chance, and had no say what so ever.
"Dang it!" I clenched my neck, which had just been burnt by a curling iron. I felt my eyes water and the stylist pressed a cold rag against it reliving the pain slightly. I undid my robe to reveal a wedding dress that I was not in love with what so ever. Yeah it was nice, but it wasn't my style. None of this was....
I had always dreamed of a beach wedding, and that is clearly not this. I glanced in the mirror I and looked back at me in my dress. Why me?

The bridal shop was a quiet little shop on the outskirts of LA. But today it was swamped with people. Chances mom was here barking orders, the people working were scrambling around trying to do everything, and the paparazzi were outside, banging in the door. The flashes of cameras filled the room while Mrs Sutton treads to cover the large glass window. I walked back into the fitting room and glanced at myself in the mirror. How on earth am I supposed to marry Chance in less then a month. I sat down on the bench and placed my head in my hands letting tears fall from my face into this dreaded gown. Marriage is meant to be for love, not money. Three sharp knocks hit the door of the fitting room before Mrs Sutton screamed at me to hurry up. I quickly undressed and left that terrible gown on the floor before changing into a black Adidas crop top with booty shorts. I walked out into the shop to find Chance sitting on his phone. Everyone else was gone, including the reporters and the only other person was someone at the cash register. He stood up.
"Ready to go T?"
"Yup"
"Here you can change into this. My mom said to wear it because it matches this." He opened his sweat shirt to reveal a white dress shirt with red sneakers. I took the bag from him and walked back to the fitting room, and changed into a strapless red dress with matching heels. I returned to Chance a minute later and we walked outside.
A yellow Lamborghini pulled up and Chance and I sat in it, with Chance driving to the party. The sun was setting over LA and shadows were cast over the city, contrasting the warm light glowing from the sun. Chance rested his hand on my thigh and I smiled up at him blankly.
Tessa-"So are just going to say nothing or are we going to talk about this wedding ?"
Chance-"I don't know... whatever you want works"
Tessa-"Are you okay? I mean I've never heard you not try to talk me up."
Chance-"Well maybe that's the problem Tessa! I can't have my old life anymore! I can't party, drink, be a reckless 21 year old! I just wish none of this happened so I could go back to how things were before this!"
Tessa-"Chance, I want that too. But I can't have it. You've saved my life- twice now and I can't thank you enough for that, but I have a life to live too! Your not the only one affected!"
Chance-"Babygirl, you just don't get it.... this isnt me! I hate commitment, and I just can't do this...."
Tessa-"But you have to Chance, we have to..."
He looked at me....
