Tessa's POV

"Chance what is it?" I asked hoping everything was okay.

"My mom wants to see us in the office now."

I nodded and walked down the stairs with Chance, holding hands. We took a seat across from Jackie and David who looked dead serious.

Jackie-"So I'm just going to say it David, the wedding is canceled."

Chance-"What? why?! Why now?"

David-"Well in Tessa's parents will, they left their portion of the mafia to Chance, not Tessa. So now we don't need you anymore Tessa. The mafia belongs to Chance now."

I blinked back tears. What did he just say?!

Tessa-"I don't understand..."

Jackie-"The part of the American mafia owned by the brooks family now belongs to the Sutton family sweetie. So we don't need you and Chance to get married because you have nothing we want. Oh and Chance you will still be getting married."

Chance-"What?! I'm so confused."

David-"Jeff bring Her out please!"

Jeff, a short man with black hair who seems to be wealthy, walked out that b**** from the party named Alex. No! No! This can't be happening!

Chance-"ALEX?!"

Alex-"Hey baby."

David-"you two know each other?!"

Chance-"We dated for a week. We broke up While I was in Venezuela on a mission."

Jackie-"Well that's great that you two know each other because your getting married next week! And Tessa, please go pack your things you have until tomorrow to leave."

Chance-"You know what mom! I'm sick and tired of this s***! Tessa has no money and no where else to go! She's staying here however long she wants or I'm done."

David-"Fine. Tessa you can move into Bella's room and Alex can move into Chances because she was evicted last week. Ok?"

I held back tears but why on earth was I crying. Chance rubbed my back and I got up without saying a word. I left the office and ran up to Chance and my old room. I grabbed all of my clothes out of the closet and took a blanket too. Chance stood in the door way and watched me. "I'm so sorry about this baby girl..."

"Don't baby's girl me... just go drink and have fun because I'm done with this." I said gathering my stuff. I left the room hitting Chances shoulder with mine as I walked by, went straight into Bella's and put my stuff in the second bed. I explained to her what happened and she gave me a hug. It's not like I liked Chance but now I'm broke and don't have anywhere to go, plus I have Bella to take care of. I walked down stairs as if nothing happened and saw Chance and Alex flirting in the couch. I ate my Pringles while scrolling through Instagram and before I knew it they had left to the club.

Two hours later....

It was late at night and I heard the front door open. I figured it was Chance and Alex. I looked over in the bed next to me and saw Bella fast asleep. I scrolled through Instagram and looked on Chances story which was a picture of Alex grinding on him.  But I'm not going to let this bother me. I heard Chances bedroom door open and then muffled sounds came through the wall. I began to hear the broken bed squeak. I heard moans and who I guessed was Alex,  screaming slightly. They got louder and louder. A tear splatters on my phone screen and I did not even know I was crying. Seconds later I was full out balling and curled up into a ball. I turned on my phone and went to twitter.

I'm realizing something right now. Who knew I was so good at hiding feelings from myself...

Whether I wanted to admit it or not I f****** love Chance Sutton more then anything....
