Three days later...

Tessa's pov

Chance has been in custody for the past three days and the trial is today. But he's innocent so he will be fine right?!

His parents are also mad at him but already signed off the mafia and a LARGE sum of money in his name so they have no power over Chance. I have been visiting him for as long as visitors are allowed but Alex hasn't shown her face since the wedding. She's probably trying to act "distressed" or something.

"Miss. Brooks, Mr.Sutton had requested your presence before he goes on trial." Said the lady at the desk. I slowly walked back to the room he was being stuck in and a Gaye's opened the door after scanning me with a metal detector.

I pushed the door open and Chance was sitting at the end of a long table.

"Hey baby girl..." he said stressed yet happy

"Hey." I said sitting down next to him.

"You coming to the trial? Maybe you can be a witness? You were right in the room next to us..."

"OMG that's a great idea! Then they will have proof that you are innocent."

I gave Chance a kiss and it almost turned into something more but I stopped him, knowing a guard could walk in at any moment.

I sat in his lap and gave him a short kiss before getting up and being escorted out by officers. I walked into the court and took a seat in the front row. About ten minutes later, seats begin to fill up and the judge walked in.

"Today we are to judge the trial of Chance Sutton vs Alex (not putting her last name because she doesn't deserve free plugs). Alex claims that she was raped by Chance in the night of the (random date). Alex please come to the stand." Said the judge taking a seat.

"I-I I'm so sorry this is a hard story to tell. So, in that night Chance and I had just gotten together and decried to go out to the club, which was (insert club name). We partied a bit but had no alcohol and towards the end of the night Chance and I went home to his house. When we got their we kissed but then he took me into his bed room and forced himself on me...I-I'm sorry....it's just so hard!" Said Alex taking a seat in her chair next to her lawyer.

"Chance Sutton, please stand and tell us your side of the story." The judge said harshly.

"Well, Alex and I had just gotten together as an official couple and we went out to the club to have some fun. Jake was also there and Tony and Megan. We all partied and drank before ubering back to my house. In the car Alex and I were kissing, and nothing more happened. Because I was intoxicated parts are blurry, but from what I can remember, Alex forced her sled into me. In fact, I don't even think I saw her dunking at that night." Chance said proudly and with a monotone voice. When he finished he looked me in the eyes and side smiled, but it just seemed sad.

The judge then heard From Jake, Anthony, and one of Alex's "friends" from the club who claimed neither of them were drinking which was clearly false. The judge then told me to stand and testify.

"Umm so that night Chance and Alex went to the club. I was heart broken they were together because I loved Chance so I remember this but don't want too... they came home and chills don the couch but Alex started to drunkenly flirt and the next thing I know I hear LOUD moans through the walls." I held back my tears and sat down as one trickled out of my eye, down my cheek, landing on my lap. My eyes met Chances and he looked at me, finally realizing how much pain that caused me.

The judge stood up from the large chair. "I hereby declare Chance Sutton, proven..."
