🎧Boy Singing
Hey babe, how are you?
Are you still in there, or are you gone too?
Who am I kidding, you know I don't care;
If your life wasn't dependent on here, I'd take you back there.
The doctor's come, now he muses;
He's seen your scars, he's seen you bruises.
He's thinking too much, about how they got there;
He's guessing too much, does he know I don't care?
He's seen my face, he now knows my name;
If they take me, I'll say you're to blame.
You should never have left that room;
There you were safe, and I could watch you.
There doors were locked, and windows were barred;
But your love was unmarred.
What am I doing? How could I think this was right?
What is it, that I have said tonight?
I thought I could keep it under control;
But maybe it's better if I leave you alone.
