🎧Boy Singing
[Kneels by her bedside]
Oh my love, I'm sorry;
Please stay with me.
I didn't mean,
For you to face the king.
Darkness's king, though you're light;
He bought you, and broke your mind.
[He gently touches her forehead, testing the temperature, and laying his hand on it after a minute]
You don't know who I am, my love, but I'll be at your side;
Until you remember, your heart, naught to the night;
[He glances to the dark sky outside nervously, and clicks on a lamp bathing the room in a warm glow]
I fear again he will take you, steal you away;
But may Fate's wind blow him, naught but the other way.
[A faint breeze ruffles his hair, blowing towards him, and he gets up to shut the window.]
Please stay with me;
I'm sorry.
[He lights a small candle]
And while you sleep;
May your dreams be safe and deep.
[Goes back to her bedside and smiles]
His words as deadly as an aboma;
[The smoke shifts to the form of a snake before the boy cuts his hand through it.]
They're what traps you in this coma.
[He smiles sadly at her]
