Hello Darkness, I know you well;
In you, I used to dwell.

[Spreads hands to the blackness in a gesture of greeting]

Now, here, I dwell once more;
Just like I had before.

Tell me, Darkness, what are you hiding?
What secrets from the light so brightly shining?

[Looks around for the light, and seeing none, cups her hands around her mouth as though whispering]

What do you hold for me here?
Show me the memories of shining tears.

Show me everything that I longed to forget;
Show me everything, nothing forfeit.

[Walks around in frustration]

And if I can't handle it, I guess I'll die;
But I need to try,
For if I don't, my mind is gone;
And I'll never know what's going on.

[A bright light explodes from the darkness, and the girl is consumed by it]
