🔇Night Singing

[Flying over mountains, as a mere shadow, carrying the girl gently in his arms]

Is that really you my love? Are you really there?
Or did again, my heart tear?

🎤Girl Singing

[Blinks, and looks at Night tenderly]

I see you, for once my love, for once with clear eyes;
I'm with you now, pure of mind.

🔇Night Singing

[A few tears roll down from his face into the valley below]

Oh, cruel pain of parting, the bitter sorrow;

🎤Girl Signing

[Touches Night's face gently, and wipes away his tears]

No longer will our time be borrowed.

🔇 Night Singing

[Expression hardens, and he flies ever quicker]

But he must pay for his crimes;
To which the world is blind.

🎤 Girl Signing

He cast me out, he broke my mind;
He tried to make me blind.

[Takes her wedding ring off her finger, and looks at it for a long moment]

🔇Night Singing

[Takes it gently from her, and hurls it below, she watches it fall without emotion]

The stretch of forever, is our time;
But I ask you now, "Will you be mine?"

[Slides a new ring onto her finger]
