A Minute Of Forever

CHAPTER 1

"Ouch!" the teacher stops lecturing. The whole class was
interrupted and was looking back to the one who is responsible for the noise.

And that's no other than Brxyll David,ang team captain ng varsity team ng basketball at ang anak ng may ari ng school na ngayon ay masamang nakatingin sa katabi niyang parang walang pakealam.

Marahang ibinagsak ng teacher nila ang librong hawak at dahan-dahang lumakad palapit sa pwesto ng may sala na ngayon ay pinagpapawisan na ng malagkit.

Yes. He maybe a heartrob.A varsity player and the son of the school owner but he do respect the school staffs---from lowest to the highest position and that's one of the characteristics why girls admire him.

He's so down to earth.

"You know that I don't want any interruptions during my class do you?" kalmado lang ang pagkakasabi nun ng teacher niya pero kinakabahan siya. Isa kasi itong terror teacher. And interruptions during her class is the least thing she wants and you must avoid.

Tanging tango lang ang nagawa niya. He doesn't want to speak to defend himself dahil ayaw niyang patulan ang babaeng katabi niya.

He doesn't want any trouble and maybe di naman sadya ang pagkurot sa kaniya? Yeah right. Note the sarcasm guise.

"Good then. You know what to do" yun lang at umalis na ito sa tabi niya upang bumalik sa pwesto niya sa unahan. Siya naman ay niligpit na ang gamit at walang lingon na lumabas ng room nila. Not even to his teammates who's definitely confused.

Ng makalabas ay dumiretso siya sa school clinic. Kaysa tumambay sa kung saan-saan dito nalang niya naisipang pumunta para matulog. Mejo mahaba habang hintayan din ang gagawin niya dahil 2 hours din ang klase nila kay Ms. Pows which is English.

"Oh! Masama pakiramdam mo?" tanong agad ng nurse ng makapasok siya. Nginitian niya muna ito bago sumagot.

"Nope. Actually, I'm just a little bit tired so I came here to rest and take a nap as well" palusot niya. He doesn't want to tell her the truth baka mapingot siya. Sadista pa man din tong ate niya.

"Excuses" napangiti nalang siya ng marinig ang bulong ng ate niya bago pumunta sa isa sa mga ward at nahiga para matulog.

He really is sleepy kaya parang blessing in disguise din yung pagkurot sa kaniya ng seatmate niya kanina.

But,come to think of it. In four years of being a seatmates it's the first time na pinansin—kinurot siya ng katabi niya na kadalasang parang walang pakealam sa mga tao sa paligid niya.

Okay.Let's stop right here. He came here to rest not to think about his seatmate so he dismissed his thoughts and close his eyes to finally rest in peace este a bit.

ON the other hand. Prenteng nakaupo lang ang may kasalanan kung bakit siya napalabas ng wala sa oras.

Nakangiti pa ito na animo'y enjoy na enjoy na nakikinig sa lecture ng teacher niya pero ang totoo niyan ay natatawa lang naman siya sa naging reaction ng kinurot niya kanina.

That was an epic reaction and everytime she remembers it ay natatawa nalang siya ng mahina.

Thirty minutes to go and the class will be over but it was interrupted.Again.

"And what's funny Ms.Casadaja?" irritation can be seen on their teachers face.

While on the other side, Rheine Casadaja,the not so typical school girl was shocked to see her teacher in front of her wearing her infamous death glare that can really cause you goosebumps.

After being in a state of shocked she look at her teacher questioningly which made Ms. Pows more irritated.

"Mind telling us what's funny?" And that hit her. She was thinking about her seatmates reaction and she doesn't know that while thinking of what happened earlier made her laugh- unconsciously. And unfortunately,Ms. Pows heard her.

She look at her teacher apologetically and murmur her sorry. The teacher forgive her but rules are rules. So she has no choice but to go out.

She was walking along the hallway when she suddenly felt dizzy. Good thing there's a pole near her and she was able to hold there before she lost her balance.

She stayed in her position for awhile before her dizziness subsided. And when she was able to balance herself she doesn't think twice and immediately go to the school clinic.

She knock twice before entering the clinic.

"Good morning. How may I help you?" smiling, the nurse ask her.

She greet back with a smile and tell the nurse what she's feeling and what she just experience awhile ago.

The nurse gave her meds and advice her to take a rest for awhile which she agreed immediately because she's not really feeling well.

Right now,she's lying in one of the bed inside the school clinic naghihintay na dalawin siya ng antok because she don't have the will to attend her class anymore.

Same thing with the person next to her bed.

Rheine was the first one to wake up. Agad niyang sinipat ang wrist watch niya at napamura pa siya ng mahina sa pagsakit ng ulo dahil sa biglaan niyang pag bangon.

I'm doomed. Lagot ako nito sa beastfriend ko mahinang bulong niya.

It's almost 5 P.M and she's very sure na di na naman siya titigilan ng kakatanong ng beastfriend niya mamaya or bukas. But she's hoping na sana bukas nalang dahil wala siyang gana mag explain ngayon.

Nang mejo nawala na ang sakit ng ulo niya ay dahan dahan siyang bumangon at lumabas sa ward niya.

"Finally, nagising nadin ang isa" yun ang bungad ng nurse sa kanya na ikinakunot ng noo niya na mukhang napansin naman ng nurse.

"Dalawa kayong nandito beh! Kaso yung isa hanggang ngayon tulog mantika pa" naiiling na sagot ng nurse.

Nahiya naman siya bigla. Mukhang naka abala pa siya.

"Sorry po" she apologize na agad ikinailing ng nurse.

"No. Don't be. It's OK" ngiti lang ang isinukli niya sa nusre.

Tinanong pa siya ng nurse kung OK na ang pakiramdam niya na sinagot naman niya ng 'OO' though mejo sumasakit na naman ang ulo niya.

She murmur her thanks before finally going out.

Pero di pa man siya masyadong nakakalayo sa clinic ay mas tumindi pa ang sakit ng ulo niya.

She ignore it.

Mas binilisan pa niya ang lakad niya patungo sa pinakamalapit na puno para dun kumuha ng lakas to balance her body dahil umiikot na talaga ang paningin niya.

Malapit na. Mga sampung hakbang nalang.

Habang palapit siya ng palapit sa puno ay patindi din ng patindi ang sakit ng ulo niya.

Few more steps and she can finally reach the tree but unfortunately sa sobrang hilo niya ay di niya nakita ang bato sa dadaanan niya kaya napatid siya dito.

She's really dizzy and it seems like her head is about to explode. Kaya ng mapatid siya sa bato ay wala na siyang nagawa. She just close her eyes and wait for her face to hit the ground.

"Shit!" kasabay ng mura nayon ay ang paghapit ng isang braso sa bewang niya preventing her to fall on the ground.

Mula sa pagkakapikit ay minulat niya ang kaniyang mga mata para makita ang humapit sa kaniya.

Nanlalaking mata yet she can see worry was written all over the face of the person who's holding her right now that put a smile on her face before darkness swallowed her.
