Summary: When Alec is getting some late night training in, Magnus decides to come and watch.

--------------------------------------------------

Magnus' POV:

I opened the training room doors and notched an eyebrow at the sight. Alec was standing in the middle of the room, bow in hand and arrow notched, aiming at a target on the other side of the room, it was in the middle of another two targets, each one was a different size and different height from the ground.

My last client of the day had left two hours ago and I have been doing paperwork at my desk since then, I wanted to see Alexander. I ran into Izzy outside in the halls and she told me where he was before running off with what was his name? Salmon? Sheldon? Doesn't matter. Right now I was more focused on my hot and sweaty boyfriend, training his pretty little ass off instead of being home with me.

I smoothed down my dark tux and leaned against a rack of swords that were on the wall, arms crossed over my chest, and waited for Alec to be finished. Alexander was in nothing but a tanktop and sweat pants, his hair was messy and must've sparred with Jace earlier since there were two wooden swords a few feet away from him on the ground.

I watched as Alec took a breath then let the arrow fly, as quickly as it hit center of the first target, there was another arrow flying through the air toward the second, followed by the third. Alec then aimed upwards and shot dead center onto the dangling target that was tied to one of the beams. He then did a rather graceful backflip and aimed toward me, he didn't shoot though.

I rose my hands up in surrender. "Woah there." I chuckled.

"Magnus?" Alec questioned, a smile creeping onto his face.

"The one and only. I came to watch." I explained.

Alec's eyes widened and he started laughing slightly.

"What is it?"

Alec just point to the wall behind me. I turned around and I saw the small target he was originally aiming at. "You are kind of in the way." he let out.

"Sorry." I said and stepped to the side, checking my surroundings for any other small targets.

Alexander just shook his head and laughed a bit more.

"Why must you train anyway? You're already the best." I questioned him. "I'd rather watch you at home if you know what I mean." I wiggled my eyebrows at him.

Alec blushed slightly and then cleared his throat. "I have to train Magnus, so I can stay the best."

I just crossed my arms and pouted.

Alec looked like he was thinking for a minute before talking. "Okay I have an idea." He said.

"You come home and we have a heated make out session?" I guessed.

"Nope." Alec made a popping sound at the end of the word. "If you make one arrow on the bullseye, we go home." Alec declared, offering his bow to me.

I looked at him with an arched eyebrow then at the bow, it was a decent size, it was etched in runes and it was black and silver in color. I then looked over at the targets on the other side of the room, it seemed easy enough but I wasn't about to tell Alec that.

"Deal." I told him and grabbed the bow.

Alec backed up as I got into the same spot he was at, notching an arrow and pulling the string back. "Keep your back straight and elbow up." Alec told me as he stood a few feet behind me.

I rolled my eyes and straightened my back, taking a breath before letting the arrow fly. It stuck on the target but not on the bullseye.

"That was pretty close." Alec said.

"I'm trying again." I declared and notched another arrow. Alec let out another laugh and stayed put behind me.

I pulled the string back and took aim but before I could shoot, Alec was behind me. His right hand lifted my elbow slightly while his left hand planted itself on my stomach, pushing me slightly so I was leaning on him and straightening me out. He then pointed at the target with his left hand.

"Focus Magnus." Alec whispered in my ear, his breath on my neck, making the hairs there stand up.

"Im focusing Alec." I sighed. I was lying, the only thing I was focusing on right now was how close Alec's body was to mine, and the fact that he was centimeters from my behind, it took all of my control not to just ravish him right here on the matted floor. My mind then went back to the bet, one arrow was all I needed.

I took another breath and tipped my head slightly, aimed, then let the arrow fly. The black tipped arrow stuck, dead center in the target, I turned around and saw the smile on Alec's face.

"You were trying to distract me!" I accused, poking his chest.

"Its not my fault you look hot with my bow, being an archer and things." Alexander defended and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer before kissing me.

I hummed in approval before we broke apart. "You are forgiven." I said. "Now lets go home."

"Let me just grab my jacket from my room and then we can go." Alec told me.

"Okay." I whispered and kissed him again before he disappear through the door, bow in hand.

I watched him go and waited a few seconds before going over to the several other bows that were hanging on a wall, all of them equipped with their own set of arrows. I grabbed a silver one from its place and notched one its arrows, I took my perfect stance and released the arrow, it went through Alec's first arrow on the first target, I then shot another and the same happened on the second target. Next thing I knew, all four of Alec's arrows were broken in half right through the middle, even the one hanging on the ceiling.

I put the bow back and turned around to see Alec standing in the doorway, arms crossed and smirk on his face.

"What?" I questioned.

"You never told me you could do that."

"Alexander I am 400 something years old, I picked up a thing or two while traveling." I explained, walking over and patting Alec on the cheek before walking out.

"Can you show me more sometime?" Alec asked, falling into step beside me.

I laced my fingers through his then kissed his cheek. "For you, anything."
