Bathtub

Summary: Alec comes home late to find that Magnus was rather busy relaxing.

Alec's POV:

I climbed up the old steps and let out a sigh as I got to the front door of our home, my entire body ached from the endless training sessions with Jace and I couldn't wait to just lay in bed with my warlock and go to sleep, him in my arms and me in his.

I was a bit surprised when I opened the door and didn't see Magnus on the couch, it wasn't that late and he usually would wait for me before going to bed.

"Magnus?" I called out. Silence.

I went upstairs to our room to find the bed empty and made. I notched an eyebrow as I heard soft music coming from the bathroom, the door only slightly open. I peaked inside and I smiled at the sight. Magnus was laying in the bathtub, bubbles up to his chin, fragrances filled the room, and candles placed in random places. He looked so relaxed with his eyes closed and breathing soft, the only sound was the low acoustic guitar music coming from his phone on top of the sink counter.

He opened an eye as the door creaked open and smiled as he saw me.

"You are welcomed to join me if you'd like." Magnus said in a relaxed tone.

He pulled a hand out of the water and held it out to me, dripping water onto the small bathroom carpet on the ground. I didn't think twice, I just stripped out of my clothes before taking his hand and sinking into the water. Some of the water dripped out of the tub as I moved to lay down on top of Magnus, my head on his chest as I heard his heart softly.

Magnus giggled quietly before wrapping his arms around my back and tracing patterns onto my skin.

"I love you..." I said tiredly, this was perfect.

"I love you too my darling."

I lost track how long we stayed like that for.

So I know its short but I just wanted to do something cute and fluffy for now.
I'm working on something much longer but I need a shadowhunter name and my mind just isn't cooperating.
