"What is everybody doing here?” Jack said as we walked into a crowded Nando's. "It's 10.30 pm on a Monday, shouldn't people be sleeping or something?" "Well we are here too so we can't really tell them off, can we?" I said as we started to cross between the tables to find two empty seats. "Us being here is different", Jack protested. "We didn't really have any choice considering there isn't any food at home. And besides, these people probably have to get up early for work. We don't. That's the perks of working with YouTube."

After about five minutes of walking around the restaurant we realised that there was no use; there weren't any empty tables. "Guess we'll just have to find a Seven Eleven or something then", I said. "Yeah", Jack said, looking a little disappointed. Then a thought hit him and he lit up. "We could always bring the food home with us and have our fanfiction moment there!" he said. I laughed. "Is that something you can do? This isn't McDonalds you know." "Of course you can!" Jack exclaimed." Haven't you done that before?" "Actually", I said, "I have never had Nando's before." Jacks eyes widened. "Then you are definitely having some now, come on."

He took my hand and dragged me over to the desk where you could order. I felt butterflies explode in my stomach. Even if he held my hand just to make me come with him I couldn't help blushing and feeling my fingers tingle at his touch. This is stupid, I thought to myself. You just met the guy. Besides, he doesn't mean anything about it. Calm yourself.

But it was had to stay calm, especially when he didn't drop my hand as we stopped in front of the desk. He kept holding it in a firm grip as we ordered. When we sat down to wait for our food he finally let go. As soon as his warm hand left mine I felt a little jolt of disappointment. It felt empty not having his hand in mine. Like I was missing a piece of myself. Stop it Taylor, you're being ridiculous, I told myself and shook my head to clear my thoughts.

''Are you okay?'' Jack said. ''Hm? Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired. Jet lag you know'', I said and smiled, although I knew that jet lag wasn't what caused my distraction. Jack nodded. ''We'll just get some food and then you can sleep.''

We sat in silence for a while, but Jack didn't seem to be the guy who could be silent for long. It didn't take more than a minute before he said: ''So... Twitter or tumblr?'' I smiled. ''Definitely tumblr.'' ''Really? Tumblr still confuses me a little. I like twitter better.'' ''Oh no, tumblr is far better. It's amazing. Awesome. Fabulous. End of story.'' Jack grinned. ''Now I see why you're Troye's best friend'', he said. ''But I still think that twitter is better.''

The argument went on as we got our food and walked back to the car. It didn't stop until we had driven all the way back to the twins´ house and Jack pulled into the driveway. ''We're here!'' he said cheerfully. The car came to a stop and Jack grabbed the bag with our food and practically jumped out if the car, running like a madman towards the house. ''Hey, what's the hurry?!'' I called after him as I grabbed my backpack and penny board and got out of the car. ''I'm hungry!'' Jack yelled back and I ran after him laughing.

The warmth of the house felt welcome against my rosy cheeks as we stepped inside and closed the door behind us. "What do you say about eating in the living room?" Jack said as he slipped out of his shoes. "We could watch a movie or something. Or do you think you´ll just crash after we have eaten?" "Nah, I´ll be fine", I said. "If the jet lag get´s to much to handle I can just go to sleep before we have finished the movie anyway." And besides, it´s not like I´m going to miss an opportunity to watch a movie with Jack Harries just because of some stupid jet lag, I added in my head. "Awesome", Jack said.

We ended up watching The Avengers with blankets wrapped around us and our dinner on the table in front of us. The food was delicious, I absolutely loved it! When I told Jack that he grinned. "Congratulations", he said, "you are now a part of the Nando´s addicts, welcome to the dark side!" "Why, thank you", I said and grinned back.
