Collaboration

After Troye and Tyler told me about their relationship we had decided that it was best to have some food before we started to film the collab. We ate a wonderful lunch in Troyes kitchen made out of salad and chicken (wow, that sounded really healthy, did we really eat that?) while chatting and just having a good time. After we had talked about the collab for a while (it was going to be a what is this?! challenge) I just couldn't hold back my curiosity anymore.

"So, how long have you guys been together?" I asked and took another bite of my food. Troye and Tyler looked at each other. "About...five months?" Tyler said with a smile. I almost choked on my chicken. "What?!" I exclaimed. "And you have managed to keep it a secret the whole time?! How is that even possible?!" "I guess we are quite good at keeping secrets", Troye said and grinned. "Also we don't want to tell our people just trough a video or something, we want to wait until we can talk to them in person", Tyler said. "We were thinking about the next VidCon", Troye filled in. I grinned. "That's great! And have I told you how adorable it is when you finish each others sentences?" Troye and Tyler looked at each other again and laughed. Gods, that look that they gave each other. It was so obvious that they were in love. "Yeah", Troye said, "we are quite adorable." Then he leaned over and gave Tyler a soft peck on the lips.

"Hashtag troyler!" someone screamed and came running into the room. Troye sighed. "Go away Tyde", he said. "Oh yeah, I will. Don't want to get in the middle of you to lovebirds making out", Tyde said and winked. Than he set of towards the front door and disappeared. Troye just shook his head. "Little brothers", he muttered. I laughed. "I think he's cute. In that way you're lucky, little brothers can be annoying but they are also cute. I got a big brother so I only get the annoying part." That made him laugh.

When we had finished our food we decided that it was probably time to make the video and started too look for objects. The point of the challenge was that Troye and Tyler were going to be blindfolded and then have to guess what object they held in their hand, so we had to find some strange objects to make it difficult. When we were done we put our stuff in two bags, one for Troye and one for Tyler, and made or way to Troyes room. We set up the camera, placed the lights in the right position and then it began. I sat behind the camera and watched the whole time. It was so strange, seeing it like that. It was like watching some sort of exclusive behind the scenes.

We had a lot of fun filming the video. There were some pretty hilarious moments and I struggled to keep myself from laughing pretty much the whole time. I knew I couldn't laugh cause then you would be able to hear it in the video, but the times I did crack up Tyler and Troye didn't seem to care. They just laughed with me. Only once did they say anything about it. That was at a time when I laughed so hysterically that I was practically lying in the floor. Troye rolled his eyes and said; "Sorry guys, we got a live audience today who isn't really able to keep it together." He winked at me and smiled. "Taylor, come and say hi." I leaned in in front of the camera, still laughing, and said: "Hi guys!" Then I pulled away, laughing even harder than before.

During the filming I also got to experience a lot of interesting stuff. For example there was one time when Tyler got really mad at Troye for making him touch some mayonnaise. "You little shit!" he screamed and ripped of his blindfold. "Why did you do that to me?!" "I thought you would like it!" Troye said and laughed. "I hate you", Tyler said and scowled at him. Troye grinned. "No you don't", he said, "you love me." Tyler smiled. "Yes I do." Then they leaned in towards each other and started to kiss. It was not a little peck this time, like the one in the kitchen, it was a real kiss which quickly deepened and soon turned into a full make out session. After a few minutes I cleared my throat. I hated to do it but I felt like I couldn't just sit there and watch. "So..." I said slowly. Tyler and Troye pulled apart. "What?" Troye asked. "Nothing", I mumbled, "just carry on." Troye grinned and then just continued talking like nothing had happened. That made me wonder, how many troyler videos had I seen in which things like this had been edited out? Probably quite many. That thought made me smile. The troyler shippers thought they knew everything. If they only knew how clueless they really were.
