Who?

I was running late. I had less than twenty minutes before my first period started and I hadn't even left home yet. And I couldn't find my shoes.

"They are not under the couch!" Spencer called from the living room. He was helping me look for my shoes but neither of us could seem to find them. "Have you checked under the armchairs?" I called back as I threw open the closet in the hallway for the second time. "On it!" After a few seconds he let out a cry of victory. "Found them!" "Thank gods", I mumbled as I rushed to get my shoes.

"Here you go", my brother said as he handed me my shoes with a smile. "Thanks, I don't know what I would do without you." Spencer threw out his arms. "What can I say, I'm just so awesome!" I pushed him playfully in the chest and laughed. "Don't get your hopes up just because I gave you a compliment. You are always going to be a loser." Spencer just shrugged. "At least I'm good looking." "Yeah, right", I said and rolled my eyes as I made my way back to the hallway. I knew that Spencer had been right, he actually was a quite good looking guy. But I couldn't tell him that cause (one) it would have been weird cause he's my brother and (two) he would have won the argument, and I couldn't let him do that.

When I had put my shoes on and was ready to leave I realized that I was still late and would never make it in time. At least not if I walked. I opened the closet in the hallway and brought out my penny board with a smile. I didn't use it to get to school very often because I had problems fitting it in my locker (we had really small lockers at my school) but I felt that right now I didn't have choice. It would also be very nice to use it again, I hadn't done so for a long time.

"I'm leaving!" I said as I opened the door. "And I'm bringing my penny board, just so you know." "Oh come on!" Spencer shouted and came running from the living room. "I was going to use that today!" "Buy your own", I said and grinned. Then I was of.

The wind played in my hair as I set of down the street. It was a warm, sunny day and the breeze was soft and comfortable. I was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a navy blue, short sleeved button down. The sun felt good on my bare arms and legs.

When I got closer to my school I a boy appear in front of me. He had brown hair and a skinny frame. Even from behind I didn't have to think twice about who he was.

''Troye!'' I called and picked up some speed to get closer. He turned around and smiled. "Taylor! Come, embrace!" I laughed and jumped of the board to give him a hug. When we stepped back Troye looked at me and his eyes widened. "That's a cool outfit!" he said and laughed. I looked down at myself in confusion. "What do you..." I started to say before I realized; Troye and I was wearing the exact same outfit. The only difference was that my shorts were shorter then his. "Oh, have you been reading my mind or something?" I said and started to laugh as well.

It had been two weeks since Troye started at my school. So much had changed in those two weeks. Troye and I were more or less inseparable by now and I walked around with a constant feeling of happiness in my stomach. It felt like things was finally starting fall in place. Everything was perfect. Or at least almost everything.

Julia and I hadn't talked for a while. I promise you, it wasn't because of the party I wasn't invited to, I had realized later on that crying because of that was stupid and childish. I had put it behind me a long time a go, so it wasn't because of the party that we wasn't talking. Or I guess you could say it was. At the party Julia had met a guy called Chad, a big bulky dude who played in our schools football team. They had started dating and suddenly they were a couple. Now Julia spent all her time with him and also made sure that I noticed. Every time I walked past her and Chad she started to make out with him like her life depended on it. She was obviously trying to make me jealous, but why I would be jealous I didn't understand. Chad was just a big dumb football player who cared more about his muscles then about other human beings. At least that was the way I saw him.

Anyway, I wasn't exactly friends with Julia anymore but it didn't matter. I was having the best time of my life and I wouldn't let Julia ruin it. She could hook up with as many guys as she liked, I was simply going to ignore her.

Troye and I got to school and the day went on like any other day. We talked, laughed, survived the most boring classes by pulling faces at each other across the room and trying our hardest not crack up, we ran trough the corridors to get our different classes in time and we had lunch in the cafeteria. The day also included me trying to ignore Julia and Chad as they started to make out in the middle of the corridor when I walked by (which I didn't enjoy) and Troye and I trying to hold back our laughter when we got strange looks from people passing by who noticed our matching outfits (which I enjoyed a whole lot more).

The day finally came to an end and we were on our way back home. As we walked I thought about how High school was now days. For a really long time I had thought it was crap, but now my opinion was slowly starting to change. High school wasn't that bad, not when I had Troye. I was about to tell him that when I realized he was already talking to me.

"Sorry, what?" I said and shook my head to get myself back to reality. Troye gave me an amused look. "You haven't heard a single word I have said, have you?" "I am afraid that I haven't." He just shook his head in amusement. "Well, what I was telling you was that I am filming a collab tomorrow and could really use some help, so what do you say?" I looked at him blankly. Troye sighed. "Do you want to come and help me?" I lit up. "I would love to! But are you sure that you really want my help?" "Of course I do!" Troye said and smiled. "You are the perfect person for this." I smiled back. "So when do you want me to come over?" "Well, since it's Saturday tomorrow maybe you could come in the morning? Like two o'clock or so?" I frowned. "That's not in the morning Troye, that's in the afternoon." "No it's not!" Troye said, looking really upset. "It's like in the early morning! In my world at least." I laughed. "I have some bad sleepinghabits but you, Troye Sivan, have something extraordinary going on." He grinned. "I know right."

By the time we reached Troyes house we finally decided when I should come to his house the next day. We gave each other a hug and said goodbye. As I hopped on my penny board and started to set of down the street I realized that I didn't even know he was going to collab with the next day. I stopped the board and turned around. "Troye!" I shouted. "Who are you going to collab with?" He looked at me and gave me a nervous smile. "Oh you know he's just my... friend." He smiled again and slipped trough the door.

That night I couldn't sleep. I was so excited to be a part of Troyes video! I knew that I wasn't really going to be in it but still, it was cool. I was also really nervous to meet the other person who was going to be in the video. What if we didn't get along? And most important, who was he? It really confused me how Troye had hesitated before the word "friend". Wasn't the guy a friend? Was he a family member maybe?

I thought about it for quite a long time. Then it hit me.

What if Troye had a boyfriend?
