She polished off the last of the Chardonnay, and licked her lips, savoring the taste of the liquid gold. Beau leaned back in her chair, with her small feet placed sturdily on the side of her bed for support. She observed the handsome human being in front of her, sleeping peacefully. Beau checked his facial features, clearly someone of Asian decent. He looked in his late twenties, early thirties.
Beau cocked her head to the side, thinking. A draft, that came out of the woodwork, blew her silk robe up, exposing her lower half. Beau placed the chair back on all fours and placed the empty wine glass on her nightstand. The clock signaled that her shift started in an hour. For the life of her, she could not remember this man's name, how the hell was she going to to get him out oh her bed?
She stood up and crawled on the bed, eyeing the wedding band tan on his finger, a cheater.
"Hey..." Beau whispered softly in his ear. His face twitched, but soon relaxed again as he fell still. Cursing silently, she looked around her bed, before her eyes ran over a small foil packet, she took the paper and crumpled it in her smalls fist. She looked at her clock 3:36 p.m.
"Hey!" She watched his eyes shoot open as he sat up.
The man rubbed his eyes, and looked around the room in confusion. Beau waited for his mind to register where he was. The man's eyes stopped on Beau, and he gave her a crooked smile. Beau smiled back.
"It's 3:37 p.m., and I have to-"
The man shot out of the bed looking around frantically for his clothes. He slipped on his slacks, and messily put on his white dress shirt and shoes, slinging his jacket over his shoulder. Beau relaxed against her headboard, and looked on.
"Michelle? Right?" The man sat on the bed, buttoning up his shirt.
"Yea." Beau answered.
He nodded happily and stood up, Beau followed him to the front door.
"Maybe we could meet up some other time." The man opened the front door. Beau sighed and held it open leaning against its side.
"Maybe."
"Call me?"
'No'
"Sure." Beau smiled.
He leaned over and kissed her before walking out the apartment. Beau rolled her eyes and closed the door.
Breathing a sigh of relief, she ran her hand through her hair, and went to get ready for work.
She wasn't going to call.

The smell of booze and sweaty bodies hit Beau's nostrils. She loved the smell, it was home.
Welcome to Bar 13, located 35 East 13th St. It was known in Miami for its rooftop bar.
The bass from the music surrounded her like a cover and she loved the suffocation feel. She maneuvered around the dancing bodies and made her way to the backroom to check in.
Beau bobbed her head to the music, smiling to some of the regulars, that she took the time to actually socialize with.
"Hey Jason." Beau greeted the bouncer that stood in front of her boss's office. He looked down at her and smiled. He was never really much of a talker.
Beau walked into his office.
"Where the hell is Beau?!" Guillermo Garza, her boss, was a red-faced man. He never quite seemed relaxed..ever.
