Beau leaned over and turned on her stereo. She flipped through her cd's and smiled when she laid her eyes on Maxwell's BLACKsummer'snight. She opened the case and carefully placed the CD into the stereo player, leaned back and pressed play.
"Make me crazy, don't speak no sound. I want you to prove it to me in the nude..addicted to they way you move.." Maxwell's falsetto filled Beau's comfy living room.
She closed her eyes and leaned her head back, humming along. Her hands moved down her chest to her stomach in a sultry manner. She finally rested her open hands on her hips, and begin swaying sexily to the beat. She moved in a circle to the soul beat as Maxwell told of a man prisoned by his woman's silence.
"This is the highest cost, take you and make you off...Love you and leave you lost, Will you forgive me?" Beau sang along with Maxwell moving her hips in a charming manner.
She walked over to her large window, still dancing, and opened the curtain. Light flooded the dark room and instantly lightened Beau's fuzzy mood.
She loved that aspect of her studio apartment, the window, is what drew her to signing her apartment lease. Beau didn't have much of a choice on apartments, she wasn't rich, in fact far from it. She was a bartender, not some top notch lawyer or doctor. She was lucky if her yearly salary added up to $32000. But she could afford her rent, and she wasn't living paycheck to paycheck. Somehow she managed to have over $200 dollars after bill paying. Maybe it was because of her awesome tips she gained every work night.
Beau grabbed the broom and started to sweep her hardwood floors.
"You're my bad habit baby, you're my. You're taking my soul down to the letter 'o' "
Maxwell cooed into her ears, she couldn't help but feel the strain from the pain in his voice. You could tell what he went through and he sung it like he relived it.
Beau swept the trash into a pile and bent over with the dustpan to sweep it up. She walked over to her small trashcan in the kitchen to empty it.
Beau looked at her tiny kitchen that was never used, so it was always clean. Beau never cooked, matter of fact, she couldn't cook. She always ate out, fast food, take out, you name it.
She knew it was unhealthy, but she didn't care. She never gained weight, she was always small because of her high metabolism. Some say she was blessed, but to Beau, it didn't matter, and she could of cared less.
When she was in high school she hated her high metabolism. People thought she was anorexic. She smiled when she remembered once incident her 9th grade year.

Beau stood in the small office with her choir friends. She called them her choir friends because they barely socialized with each other outside of their choir class. Rachel, one of her 'choir friends', came out of nowhere and began to speak.
"Beau, you're too small."
Beau was never the one to not stand up for herself, so she quickly retaliated,
"You're too big."
The small room was filled with gasps and laughs. Rachel gasped also and sulked. Beau looked at her to see if she was going to say anything else, but nothing happened. She guessed that no one would of expected her to not saying anything.
--
Beau loved the smell of a clean house, she felt organized when she could see the floor in her room and living room. She was grateful everyday that she was only one staying in her house. Beau couldn't handle the thought of any more people staying in her studio apartment.
