My eyes hurt from staring into the young foxes eyes intensely, stories always made me feel like I was a little kid again, even just for a moment. It reminded me of who I used to be, what I was supposed to be and what I am today.
Lavender gave me a amused smile as I wagged my tail for the first time in years.
"I still don't understand" I said, I was still slightly confused. If Farkas was Adalines guardian does that mean that dogs are humans guardians? He represented the first dog, Right? And if thats true, how do I come into play... I'm a wolf, the symbol for power, determination, loyalty and freedom. How does someone as wild as me have to do with humans or... dare I say dogs.
Lavender smiled mysteriously. To you humans she might've looked like the cheshire cat. Fourth wall broken, sorry not sorry.
"The dear are still guarded by a buck are they not?"
"Yes but-"
"And the grass hides the trees sensitive root"
"Ye-
"Everything is connected, everything guards each other, in some cases others will even find a way to guard a specific tree or dear."
"Are you saying I'm the tree? Or the dear? and you're... grass?"
"Perhaps. I am here to guide you when you become lost. So I guess I am the grass. Although your mannerisms are more like a buck."
I blushed furiously as my short temper flared. "Are you challenging me?!"
"Only after you grow old."
"You little-!"
"I much prefer the insult muttonhead."
I grumbled in annoyance and my stomach seemed to sing along with my displeasure.
"I rather should get going. Clock is ticking. Tick tock tick tock." With that Lavender pounced off.
Almost as strange as Moose...
>Unknown<
"Sir we have discovered the tracks of a rogue by Slough Creek."
"Why do I care?" I hissed at my solider, stupid creature. They never do anything right, all they do is whine. 'ooh we need food to survive'. 'ooh the pups are in danger from the storm'. Why would I care?!? I can just breed more and if they can't survive a measly thunderstorm then they aren't worth the food supply!
"Because the rogues tracks, smelt like fire and ash."
I froze and began pacing my den. She couldn't possibly be alive, this world is ruthless and it sure as hell wouldn't let a pup like her survive. Well I suppose if it is her she wouldn't be a pup anymore.. And if she's not a pup she may unlock her star... The Iota Draconis star is the most powerful among the Draco constellation... And Hypatia... No... We can't let her live, surely a smart one like her would come back for revenge.. But maybe... It's risky, but we always have plan B to fall back on...
Perhaps...
"Find her and bring her to me. If you fail, I'll feed your corpse to Halen."
The wolves face probably would have paled if I could see its skin, but sadly the creature has fur.
"I won't fail you sir, She'll be here by sunrise."
"She better Cody" I seethed through my fangs... Fang....
The thought of my dead brother made me smile. Oh brother, you never had a chance against me, you couldn't even keep your own servants from betraying you. You always were useless. No wonder the humans killed your mate so easily. HA!
Cody had left, he was a disappointment to say the least... I've been trying to breed the perfect offspring for years, they needed a heart of hatred, green eyes and most importantly, a pitch black coat...
What was Cody's problem? Well, his appearance is mostly correct, he's a bit scrawny but thats fixable... Its because this wolf is what you would call... sane... and sweet?
He wouldn't hurt a fly, Its sickening...

Sorry for the delay! instead of writing another chapter to catch up I'll probably just edit previous chapters to make them more enjoyable, as usual, any spelling or grammer errors should be kindly pointed out so I can fix them :)
As always keep smiling!
