Soulmates

First time together since along time

It was early in the morning when I got up to check on my pet, she's very noisy at times. I had been thinking all night about him, his smile, voice but then again he's just my best friend. I lay and think if he would ever love me one day but I just need hold my tongue for now. Lila seemed to be alright she was just hungry, so I took out some food for her in her little dish I bpought the other day. I heard my phone ringing and ringing in my room, but I didn't bother answering it. I decided to see who it was and it was him, I quickly slide to answer... and I heard his voice. His deep deep voice, the one that makes you feel safe and comforted.
"Hello?" I said waiting for a response.
"Hi Elizabeth would you like to go for a cup of coffee this morning? I feel like we haven't hanged out in a long time.." he said all relaxed.
"Sure I'll meet you at The Junction in about 20 minutes." I responded playing with my hair, I was blushing.
"Okay see you then and by the way don't dress up too much you look beautiful just the way you are, see you later." he said with a little heartwarming sound in his voice.
I couldn't believe my ears, he called me beautiful and I was so happy that I didn't know what to say but never the less I changed and started moving towards the coffee shop. I arrived but no sign of him outside, so I went inside sat at a table and ordered a Hot Chocolate Milk with whip cream, it's my favourite. It was a cold morning and I'm always feeling cold. The door opens, another customer walks in but it wasn't who I expected. I waited for him and I was about to leave and just then he arrived.
"I'm so sorry Elizabeth I got caught up in traffic. Have you ordered anything?" he said feeling so bad for making me wait.
"Yes I have and it's done but I'll go for round 2 now that you're here." I smiled at him while we was taking a sit.
"Ah yes my little go getter, you look lovely this morning I see you took my advice. " he said with a grin on his face.
" Yes I did, I actually love this look... It's comfortable. " I said confidently.
Our orders came and we talked about the last few weeks and how it's been with each others jobs. He seemed a bit off like lost but he still smiled. We finished up our coffee and started to head out. He wanted to go for a walk at the park but I needed to go home I didn't want to leave Lila alone. He was disappointed but he understood so we went our separate ways that day but we talked all day on our phones. We even video chatted for like almost the whole afternoon. I was so happy I got to him he's just so special but would I ever get the right chance to tell him how I feel. Dusk came and I had a meeting with my boss, not what I was hoping for that night. So I fed Lila for the last time and started to head to my boss's office. I arrived just in time and I entered into the room and took a seat.
"Good evening Mrs.Usher I suppose that you know already why you're here. " she said.
"I do." I replied.
"Well now since you've been missing work for a week I'm afraid I'll have to let you go." she said while she was fixing papers on the desk.
" I understand Mrs.Rosewood. " I said without a rush to go home which I really wanted to go home.
" Okay Mrs.Usher, if there is anything we can help you with just come forward." she said smiling.
I quickly got out of my seat and headed  to the door, before leaving I said,
" Thank you." and I went out. Tears soon falling out of my eyes but I didn't care I just wanted to go home. It was already around 7:30 pm. I arrived home where I found someone waiting for me on the porch. I didn't know who it was, so I crept by slowly. The thought of someone wanting to hurt me is not a good thing. I stopped and asked myself if this day could get any worse?.
