Secrets (Part 2)

Friday

Beth had gone pretty early today guess she wanted to come out of early too. Austin was no where found in the house when I woke up. I though he might have went to the store. It's pretty cold now. I decided to make hot chocolate which was my favourite and had that for breakfast. I hoped he'd get back soon.

Luis's point of view

I can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow. I hope Beth gave Elizabeth the invitation and hopefully they get here by tonight. It was pretty hard to get her invited after all Veronica was acting all over protective and I wouldn't even call it that. It's been a week not seeing them and a few days not contacting them. It's just so hard because if I try Veronica needs the attention more than anyone else. I miss them so bad. I keep on asking myself why did I leave that day when I could have just asked her and not get hurt. It seemed as though they were dating again. I can't believe I freaked out.
" Luis breakfast is ready and after breakfast you'll go for your appointment today, " Veronica yelled.
I went downstairs and of course showed my manners but I was lost in deep thought. Very lost.

Elizabeth's point of view

It was probably around 11 am when I noticed some ashes on the kitchen ground while I was sweeping. I didn't bother about it. I thought I should just wait until Beth and Austin are home. There was something suspicious about it I mean we never burn things here. It was very odd. Meanwhile I waited I cooked lunch. Austin still hadn't came home. I called but it went straight to voicemail so I thought I'd be spending lunch alone.

3 hours later

I was in my room when I heard the front door open and shut. I ran down quickly to see who it was and it was Beth.
" What are you doing here?" I asked confused.
" I came home early from work why is there something wrong?" she replied.
" Nope nothing wrong just waiting for you and Austin to get home that's all, "
"Where is Austin anyway?"
" Must have went to buy something I guess, "
" Oh okay then guess it's just Beth and Elizabeth for the while, "
"Yeah there's food in the kitchen I'll be here in the living room. "

She sat at the table in the kitchen and ate her food and unexpectedly my phone rang.
"Hello, " I answered.
Surprisingly it was Austin that was calling me. Finally.
"Sorry that I left without any messages I'm sorry if I worried you it's just that I had to look for something, " he replied.
" Oh okay just please come home we need to talk, "
" What is it? Did Beth tell you anything?"
At that time I was confused. Why would he say that I asked myself. I was concerned.
" No should she be saying something?"
" Oh no I just thought she said something but anyway I'll be coming home in 10 minutes. "
" Okay I'll be waiting. "
We finished talking and I looked over at Beth and she didn't look at me for nothing. I waited until Austin come over. It was a long 10 minutes.

The door opened and closed and it quickly caught my attention.
" Hello, I'm home, " he said.
" I was waiting like I said, " I replied.
Beth had went to her room. She didn't come out.
" Call Beth I have a surprise, " he said.
" Okay I'll be right back, "
Suddenly I my mood changed and I was happy. I went for Beth called her down and both of us came down together.

We sat together in the living room as Austin began to talk. He was talking about us and our relationship. Long story short : He got on his knees took out a wedding ring, it was so beautiful. It had a big diamond on the top.
"Elizabeth Emerald Collin, would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" he asked.
I was in shock. I hesitated. I didn't know what to say. I thought for a while. It was what I want but not want I wanted at the same time. He always made me happy and I was about to reply but Beth answered.
" You can't marry Austin just yet.... There's something we need to talk about, " she said.
Again I was confused and lost.
" Beth not now she has to answer me first, "he replied.
" She'll make up her mind after she hears the truth, " Beth continued.
"Elizabeth you know I love you, there's nothing I'd do to ruin us, " he said.
" Elizabeth Luis sent an invitation for his wedding and he wanted us to go... But Austin found it first and burnt it, "

That would explain the ashes and auspiciousness from both if them. They both lied. Now I was about to say yes to someone who betrayed me.
I looked at both of them, stood up and took a vase and through it on the wall. I was pretty mad as you could tell
