*Ellie's POV*

I wake up and look around the room. Stevie is nowhere to be found. I panic and sit up quickly making everything go black for a second. I look over at the bedside table to find a note...

"Be back soon... XOXO <3 Love, Stevie."

I read it and hold it to my chest for a moment. I wonder where she went? Where would she go? I begin to worry again. I shouldn't be worried, she is an independent woman, but I just don't want anything to happen to her. I love her...

I search around the bed for my cell phone. I find it and quickly text her.

Hey, where did you go?

I go on twitter while I wait for a reply. I find many tweets asking about the kiss I gave Stevie on stage last night. I don't regret it, but now it's no secret. I find an article written by someone about me. I open the link to see a picture of me kissing Stevie.

Has This British Blonde Gone the Other Way?

Ellie Goulding kissed a girl on the cheek twice and once on the lips last night in Colorado. Does that kiss mean something? Or was it just a friendly gesture?

I read and exit the page. I write a new tweet saying I will explain what happened later. I need to ask Stevie to be my girlfriend, or is it too soon? Should I just ask her to go out with me? Ugh, I need Lauren . "Lauren!!!" I yell across the bus.

Lauren walks in and plops down on the bed.

"What's up?"

"Where's Stevie?"

"I seen her leave earlier."

"Where to?"

"She didn't say."

"Well I have a question."

"What?"

"What should I do about Stevie?"

"Wait? do you not like her? as in like get rid of her?"

"No! No! No! Hell no!!!"

"Then what do you mean?"

"Should I ask her to be my girlfriend or what?"

"You should. She makes you happier than I've ever seen you."

"I will."

Lauren leaves and I turn on the tv to take up time until Stevie gets back. She hasn't even read my text yet. I want her back now, I miss her. I don't even pay attention to what is on the tv I just think of how I'm going to ask her. It's not like a big proposal or anything, but it does mean a lot. I'll wait until we get to Miami to ask her. I'll make it memorable.

I hear a click and the door open slowly. I sit up and hold the blanket up to cover my bare chest. I smile hoping it's Stevie. The door slides open and Stevie stands there with a big smile and a bouquet of roses.

"Oh goodness Stevie! you didn't!"

"Oh but I did!" She laughs and climbs on the bed and over to me. She hands me the roses and I hug her tightly.

"You speak Spanish?"

"What? No!"

"Then why are you watching the Spanish channel?"

"I didn't know I was!" I say and we burst out laughing. These are the greatest moments, laughing with the only person I want to be with right now - Stevie.

"You're so sweet!" I laugh as she tickles my sides. I set the flowers on the bedside table. She begins kissing my neck and collar bones.

"Stop..." I say.
