*Ellie's POV*

"I can't believe that you actually surprised me." Stevie says between kissing me.

"I can't either." I say and she starts kissing my neck.

We are staying in a hotel for now because Kyla moved out of their apartment to live with her girlfriend and Stevie was planning on moving out any way. So they got all moved out. All Stevie's things are currently at her parents house or with Kyla.

She starts to pull my shirt up and I stop her.

"What are you doing?" She whispers and starts kissing my collarbones.

"I made plans to meet your family for dinner at six-thirty."

"What time is it?" She asks.

I grab my phone from across the bed and check the time. "Shit! It's six-fifteen and we have to drive there."

We get up and I go into the washroom. I look at myself in the mirror and fix my hair a little. "Stevie!" I yell.

"What?" She yells back from across the room.

"Do you have a scarf?" I ask examining her lovely artwork on my neck.

"No, it's summer. Why?" She comes into the washroom.

I point out the small marks. "Put your hair extensions on." She suggests.

"Go get them out of my bag." I say and she runs out to go grab them.

She comes back in and helps my clip them into my hair. I style my hair to cover what she did.

"Let's go, we are late and your mum has called me and texted me many times." I say and pull her out the door. She gets in the drivers seat of her car and I tell her where to go.

We get there and the waitress takes us to the table where her mum, dad, brother, sister and grandparents are waiting. This restaurant isn't very fancy so we are just dressed casual.

"Let me see the ring!" Her grandmother says excitedly. Stevie holds her hand out and shows all of them. Her little sister - Ella - seems to be the most excited.

The waitress walks back to our table. "ooh, did you just recently get proposed to?" She asks being friendly.

"Yes. I just came back home from across the world. My family hasn't seen the ring yet." Stevie says being friendly back, her usual self.

"Where's your man?" she asks.

Stevie let's out a little giggle and says, "Right here. He is a woman!" She laughs and puts her arm around me. I think she had one too many drinks on the plane. I laugh with her and the waitress seems confused for a second.

"Well congratulations." She smiles.

"Thank you." I say and smile.

We order and wait patiently for our food. We talk and talk and talk. Telling them all about our adventures in Australia, Ireland, England and more.

"You need to take me to Paris." Stevie's grandma says.

"That is one place we didn't get to go." Stevie says and looks at me.

"You want to go to Paris?" I ask Stevie.

She nods her head and gives me a pouty face. "Some day." I say and put my hand on her knee.

We finish our food and wait of our bill.

"You should come stay at our house." Ella suggests.

"Yeah! and come to my (American) football game tomorrow." Max says.
