*Stevie's POV*
I told everyone I was sick of being in the same room for so long every day. It really does get boring. They told me to get out and explore. Henry suggested that I play street shows in popular places around California. Not a bad idea, but I've never performed on the street. He also set up some small gig shows for me to play. We decided that my stage name will just be Stevie, lame I know.
I chose the four girls for my band. My guitarist - Jessy, my keyboardist - Chrissy, my drummer - Hayley, and my bass guitarist - Tessa. I love all of them, they are amazing and fun to be around.
We fit all of our equipment into the car that we are taking. I'm bringing Chrissy and a guitar with me. I need her to do all the piano and special sounds and a bit of drumming. I can play the guitar and sing. Today we are going down to Laguna beach to play to people as they shop and play at the beach. It's going to be fun and hot.
I take the drivers seat and start the car. Chrissy jumps in the passengers seat and we take off.
"Are you ready for this?" I ask her. I'm getting anxious.
"Yes, do you have the set written down?" She asks.
"Yeah, I wrote down a whole bunch of songs we can play on a sticky note that is stuck to my guitar. We'll play mostly covers but a few originals." I say.
After a little over an hour drive we get there. Chrissy and I unload everything and set it up under a nice shady tree. I brought a bunch of demo CDs to hand out to get my name and music out there. Half the songs are covers an the other half are originals. Inky six songs, but that's good for a free demo.
Once we get all set up I'm ready to play. The first song I have written down is Summertime Sadness by the amazing Lana Del Rey. I start to play the intro and I notice a few people getting interested. As I get into the second verse I realize I have an audience. People are surrounding me throwing extra money into my guitar case. I get into the next song, an original. It's one that people can dance to and it seems that people like it. I'm handing out my CDs like crazy now. This really is an awesome experience.
After a few songs Chrissy pauses me before we get into the next song.
"Really Stevie?" She asks and face palms herself.
"What?"
"This next song..." She laughs and points to it.
"Bounce by Iggy Azalea. We've played it before." I say.
"Yeah, for fun."
"This is fun! People will love it! come on!" I say.
"Fine... you're my boss." Chrissy shakes her head laughing quietly.
I announce that this next sing will be quite different and that everyone should dance.
*Chrissy's POV*
Working with Stevie is nothing but fun. She can be a bit high maintenance though. You do what she wants how she wants it or the fun ends. It's a job and she is just like any other boss but a hundred times better.
Her music range is very wide. She will write one song that's a catchy pop song and the next one is jazzy like Lana Del Rey. And then she will want to wrap like Iggy Azalea. She isn't bad at any of it but we try to get her to stick to one Genre. I think she is best with indie pop, it's good with her voice and her presence. I also think that's the one she likes the most too.
When I heard Stevie was dating Ellie Goulding I was shocked. I didn't know Stevie was into girls when I first met her and I didn't know that Ellie was either. I seen some pictures of them together, they are the cutest couple. I'm being honest, they're adorable. When they are on the phone with each other it makes you mad because you want a relationship like that. Yeah, that's how cute they are.
