"Niall James Horan, born 13 September 1993(age 20), is from Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland.[1] Born to Bobby and Maura Gallagher,[1] he has an older brother named Greg.[2] Their parents divorced when he was five.[1] He and his brother lived between each of their homes for a few years before eventually deciding to live with their father in Mullingar.[1] Horan was a pupil at Coláiste Mhuire, a boys' Christian Brothers school.[3][4] He was in his school's choir, performing seasonally around Christmas.[5][6]
Prior to participating in The X Factor, he performed around his homeland, including as a support act for Lloyd Daniels in Dublin.[7]Horan has been playing guitar since his childhood.[8] Horan has also stated that he is a "big swing" fan, citing favourite artists Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Michael Bublé.[9]Horan liked rock music and is a fan of The Eagles, Bon Jovi and The Script.[10][9]
Horan was part of the world famous band One Direction. They had three albums out already and were working on the four album; they were kicking off their third worldwide tour in 2014.
One Direction was taking a break from all the stress for a bit; they took their families on a cruise. However, only Horan returned from the cruise alive. No one knows exactly what happened on the cruise, so the reason of Tomlinson, Styles, Payne, and Malik's death remains unknown."
