Brian and I have been talking for a couple of days now & I told him about the Sebastian thing but anyway Its My Birthday. Im excited but I feel something in my gut saying not to get too excited.
Im not doing much for my birthday, I was supposed to have a family/friend party at Matt's but I havent really talked to him since that day. He texted me but I didnt respond there was no need to
"Leilani hurry up , Matthew and the family is waiting ." I guess we are going by him,
"Ma you can leave I have a ride there already." She raised her eyebrow but left anyway,
Ke'Shawn is supposed to come get me, I think she is here hopefully thats her at the door.
"Hey" She pushed pass me and sat on the couch
"Lani you dont know how tired I am. I didnt get any sleep lastnight"
I wonder why she was probably on the phone with Marcus
"Why?" Her eyes were already closed
"Matthew keep texting me asking if you were okay, whats up with you did you look okay. Why havent you called or text him back" Oh Damn, so it wasnt Marcus. I feel bad now I should have called him
I should have known he was going to annoy my friends. He probably thought I took it harder than I did
"Sorry thats my fault but can we go, Im hungry " She got up and threw me the keys.
I drove to Matty's house with out any mistakes . I feel so proud, I cant wait to get my car. Brian is supposed to be coming later on
I should brace myself before I go in, I still havent talked to Matt today
"Hey Babygirl" Matt Hugged me tightly, "Can we talk ? out back"
He walked out to the back yard after I said hey to everyone inside.
"Before you say anything Matt, Im sorry I havent called or text you back & sorry I made you worry so much" He smiled and then smirked
"You should be sorry, Your lucky I didnt tell ya Ma. She wouldve been heated " I laughed & he laughed with me.
"Your still an ass Matty. " I looked past Matt & saw Brian standing by the door. He started walking towards us.
"Hey Wassup Matt" They did this little handshake thing. They know each other, should I be scared. The last time Matt knew a boy I was friends with was Colson & that ended badly.
Brian came over to me hugged me & kissed me on the cheek in front of Matty. Well at least it was on the cheek but still Matty hated the idea of any guy touching me let alone in front of him. So I stood there mouth slightly opened and my already big eyes bigger while they started a conversation ignoring what just happened.
The 'party' was fun everyone was kind of acceptable of Brian, some family tired to say that I should have more colorful choices in guys but Idc I like Brian. Speaking of Brian Im On my way to his house right now. But as always Matty is coming too. Brian said he forgot my present at his house, so we are going to get it.I wonder what it is
"Sorry its messy but Alex my little brother had a friends over." Awh Alex I wonder where he is. He is the cutest.
"Where is Alex ?" He started to pick up the toys and stuff.
"With Brianna, his babysitter" Just then a Pretty caramel color lady walked in the living room holding Alex'a hand.
"Leilani! Hii!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY" He ran to me, almost tripping, & hugged me
"Hey Buddy. Hows it going?" He then hugged Brian & stared at Matt asking his name & stuff.
" Alex can you show Leilani her birthday present " He nodded and dragged me to his room which was filled with toys & colorings
"Wait here, I'll go get it" He pointed to a beanbag before leaving. Matt sat down first so I sat on his junking bed.
"What the hell! You arent supposed to be here today, Tomorrow is your day! Leave!"
That sounded like Brian but Idk
"Stoopp!!! I want my brother!!!"
Omg Alex, what is going on
Me & Matty look at each other before getting up and seeing whats going on.
As soon as I saw who Brian was yelling at I froze. I cant believe it, His green eyes widen & brighten in color as they found their way to me. He has more, tattoos I mean he has sleeves now. They are bright in color. His hair a longer now & curlier too, he repierced his nose. As I examine him my eyes caught this one tattoo. It read DarkAngel next to it was a picture of a angel whose wings were ripped, black and white in color.
My eyes teared up, Colson. He used to always call me his DarkAngel. He said that I am pure but dangerously curious & I guess he was right. But did I mean that much to him for him to get a tattoo that symbolizes me .
"Hey Leilani" He smiled & my heart broke. His perfect straight teeth. I couldnt speak & his smile grew bigger when I didnt respond
" I know Matthew taught you better than that. I would ask for a hug but You look like you seen a ghost" He laughed at his own joke. I looked at Matty and he was clenching his jaw & fist.
& thats when I saw it, Alex's green eyes looked like Colson's. Their hair the same color & texture. they even had the same cute little nose.
They have to be brothers, Alwx must have been talking about Colson as his brother. & Brian had to have known who Colson was when I asked. My expression changed and I smiled
"Do you remember this day? You have to remember." Colson smiled again happy that I spoke
"Its Its Your Birthday, your what 16 now" He did remember.
I hugged him, I actually made physically contant with him. He feels so warm, I miss this feeling.
I feel like crying, Brian knew but didnt tell me. But you know what
Its okay Im okay, Im not crying anymore.
