Beetlebrained, snakehearted, dungfaced traitor! Mudsplotch cursed while thinking of Splashclaw's trickery. How could he kill Shadowriver!? Argh! He stood up, shaking his fur out. He quickly groomed himself. The wind whispered in the trees. A voice could become audible.
   "Beware the claw colored brown in the mists of black fur, for he will frost the hearts of the loving, yet the gentle rain will restore the love from those robbed from it."
   A prophecy! Given to me! This isn't good! No, no, no. Who is the claw, and who is the rain? I must tell Bramblestar! Mudsplotch thought. He hurried out of the warriors den, and barged into the leaders den. He came face to face with Bramblestar and Sootsplash licking each other's ears and cheeks. Mudsplotch froze. Bramblestar, realizing he had company, stopped licking Sootsplash, and quickly groomed his chest fur in embarrassment.
   "Yes?" He asked. He signaled for Mudsplotch's mother to leave.
   "I heard a prophecy. It was on the wind it sounded like this, beware the claw colored brown in the mists of black fur, for he will frost the hearts of the loving, yet the gentle rain will restore the love from those robbed from it," Mudsplotch meowed, reciting the prophecy.
   "Hmm... Go get Pebblefrost and Shadowriver, will you? They should hear this," RiverClan's leader meowed. Mudsplotch nodded, and ran to go get the medicine cat and deputy. They discussed the prophecy for a while. Soon the sun started to sink, and Mudsplotch hadn't had any prey yet. He grabbed a fish, and talked to Tigerflower for the rest of the day. Their kits were due soon. Her belly bulged. Pebblefrost said they would have three or four kits even though it was her first litter. Mudsplotch settled down in his nest, and soon fell asleep.

300 words exactly! Sorry this chapter was a little dull and short. I couldn't think of anything exiting to happen for Mudsplotch. Splashclaw's chapter will be better.
