The next week seems to zoom by, school being the normal drag. At lunch all four of us sit together, as Ashton goes to a different school, even Luke, although he keeps his head down.

"What the frick is that??!" I laugh as Michael sits down with a big lump on his plate.

"A pie apparently," he glares at me as he slides down beside me.

"Have you guys packed yet?"

"Nope," Luke replies proudly. I think Luke and I have created a mutual friendship now, we talk to eachother but it is still kind of awkward.

"Hi hun!" Calum grins happily as he approaches us and pecks my cheek, before sitting opposite me. I think pecking eachother is as far as we have gone, which is sweet. I guess.

"Have you finished the setlist?"

"Yeah just about," Calum says, and gets out a crumpled list from his pocket.

I scan it.

"I haven't heard that one before? I've Got This Friend?"

"Oh yeah, Luke never wants to play it in front of y- OW! What was that for man?"

"Shut up sometimes Michael," Luke quietly says.

"Oh right, sorry mate," he blushes and continues eating.

We sit in silence for a few moments.

"Well? Is somebody going to explain?"

"Just leave it Lily," Luke says, pushing his lunch away from him, standing up and walking away.

"What's up with him?" Calum asks innocently.

"I don't know, I will go find him," I say, standing up and running in his direction. I find him sitting on a wall round the back of school, his head in his hands.

"Luke?"

He looks up, his blue eyes piercing into mine.

"Lily please go away," He says as politely as he can, but the words still come out harsh.

"Look Luke I don't know what has gotten into you, but I gave you a chance, you messed up, and now I'm with Calum. Can you please get over it and stop being so weird?"

"Fuck Lily you can't keep holding that against me, I was drunk out of my fucking head!"

"Don't swear it doesn't suit you," I shortly reply. He rolls his eyes.

"Alright mum. Look can you give me a chance? What are you doing the night before we leave?"

"You leave on Saturday morning right?"

"Yeah,"

"Well I'm going to your show?"

"After that?"

"Nothing?"

"Can we do something?"

"Luke I am going out with one of your best friends!"

"As friends?"

"Will Cal mind?"

He shrugs "Doubt it, you go out with Mike or Ash sometimes don't you?"

"Well yeah but..."

"Exactly,"

"Fine Luke, God dammit,"

He grins, just as the bell goes, signalling for us to get to our lessons.

"What was wrong with him?" Calum asks while the teacher is talking in English.
