Chapter 12

'Where am I' I was floating. In a black void. Well, technically I guess I wasn't floating, ok? I was standing but everything around me was like vantablack. If you don't know what that is it's basically an artificial black hole. It absorbs light. Yeah. However it doesn't suck everything into it. That would be a bad idea to make if it did.

All I remember was being told something important, then everything going black. How long has it been? I need to wake up. I can hear a monitor in the background. It's faint. As if I have really strong, dense earplugs in. What's going to happen to Yuuri? Where is he?

"I'm so sorry you're like this." Came a distant voice. 'Minako?' I asked straining to hear the voice. "I don't know if you can hear me or recognize my voice but it's Minako. It's my fault you're here, I couldn't protect you. I'm so sorry." 'what do you mean?' "The doctor said that if we can't pull enough funds together we may have to pull the plug so please get well soon... I can't lose you. You're my best friend!" Then I heard the crying as someone touched my head gently. That was it. I'm in the hospital. 'I have to find Yuuri' I pushed and pushed my eyelids up trying to get them to open. 'Little brother, I have to protect you!' The beeping got louder and louder as I continued to try to force my eyes open. 'Is this how it works? When they regain consciousness it's up to them to realize their condition and wake up?' A/N No. IT'S NOT I RESEARCHED THIS BUT IT'S FOR PLOT SO CHILL MEDICAL NERDS I could almost hear the beep completely before I couldn't take the strain and slipped all the way back to where I began. However, the beeping sounded louder than it was earlier.

YUURIS POV
"Sister?" I had never considered I may have still living relatives. It's highly unlikely I do, but there's that small sliver of hope that someone could pull me out of the darkness remains waning slowly over the years. What happened to Mari? For the first time in years, I wondered what happened to my sister.

Yeah, this is a little bit (a lot...) shorter but you know... I lost inspiration for this chapter... I had a plan. Then I completed it within a few sentences.
