Melanie's POV:

During our tutor session we didn't talk about the kiss just about math. But I forgot to give him something. I thought I'll see him at lunch, no big deal.

Once lunch arrives I walk over to his table. He is surrounded by his friends. This is the ultimate test to see how he would react.

"Andrew, can I talk to you?"

He takes one look at me and says, "Why would I talk to you?"

I get disappointed, mad. I slap a card down in front of him making him jump. "When you stop acting like a dick I want you to make an appearance at my dad's  funeral. Time and place is on the card." I walk away. See guys are all the same. I knew he was going to do this.

Andrew's POV:

"I didn't know her dad died."

"Who is she, anyways?"

"Her dad died two days ago and her name is Melanie." Just by answering it brought on a wave of questions. 'How do you know her?' 'Why does she want you to come?' 'Why is she tutoring you?' 'If you needed help in math I could have helped you.' (A/N: if you don't know he is answering the questions as they ask them.)

"It sucks to be stuck with her."

"Why?" I snapped.

"Because she's not hot or even cute." Everyone at the table nod their heads agreeing with him.

"What if I think she is cute or hot?"

"Then she must be a good lay." One of my guy friends say.

I stand up, "I'm not sleeping with her and your all so cliché." I walk over to Melanie; she is standing in front of a vending machine deciding what to buy. I turn her around to face me, "Sorry, I'm such an ass." I lean down and kiss her.

Melanie's POV:

I couldn't control myself; I just had to kiss him back. You can hear the cafeteria grow silent and you know that they're all staring at us. We pull apart and he smiles. I couldn't help but smile back. Without looking at our audience he grabs a hold of my hand and asks me if I wanted to spend the rest of lunch in the library with him. I couldn't refuse.

When lunch was over he asked me if I would like to go on a date with him. I happily accepted. He wants to take me out to dinner and go back to his house to watch a movie.

~At 8:00~

Andrew picks me up. "So, where are we going?"

"You get to choose. Option a.) I swing by Wendy's. We order to go and we park at the park and eat on the hood of my car. Option b.) We go to a nice restaurant. Eat ridiculously over priced food while we wish we were eating Wendy's."

"I think I'll go with option a."

"Good choice." He smiles at me.

Andrew ate his double stacked baconater with everything and medium fry and a coke. I munched on my double ¼ pounder, plain with a medium fry and root beer on his hood. "You know not that many girls I know would order what you just did."

"Well maybe you need to find better girls."

"I found you didn't I?" He smiles taking another bite of his baconater.

"Yes you did."

"I'm sorry for going all serious but I was wondering how you were doing. I mean with everything."

"I feel a lot better with you around. You've helped me more than you can ever imagine."

"Thanks that means a great deal to me to hear you say that."
