Chapter 14. midterms

a few weeks have past and before the whole university knew it, midterms have begun. The whole university was buzzing with studious students finishing a midterm project, studying for a test, or even writing the tests. Everyone could feel the stress of the whole university. Radhika and Shiva kept on studying throughout the weeks prior to midterms. Shiva got fed up.

"lets leave"shiva whispered to radhika

"leave?" Radhika was confused "its midterms, and we have more projects than test"

"all we need to do is create a script and act it out, write an essay on William Shakespeare best works, write up a short story, study for French Spanish English and Italian class, create a speech, sing a song we created, create a portfolio of fashion trends, create a websitee and insert graphics in the web, and use art to express senses and emotion then interpret the art using perceptionn and feeling" Shiva stated almost out of breath

"your point?" Questioned radhika

"we finished all the projects" shiva frantically shouted "all thats left is to present and do the test"

"practice makes perfect babe" radhika said sarcastically "and remember we are a team"

"fine" shiva succumbed "i can't win when you cutely makes a good comeback sugar"

They nuzzled their noses together as they continued studying. Raj watching from afar couldn't take his eyes away. His business team consisting of mostly manly men were all with him finishing a marketing plan for one of their class. His best friend chirag who is in his team also knew exactly where Rajah's headspace was at. Chirag snapped Rajah out of his mind to continue with the group project. A couple hours went by and the bell for dismissal rang.

Everyone fled out of the university. Rajah waited at the entrance waited for chirag to get his things. He saw radhika and shiva getting on shivas Ducati as they rode of. at the same time chirag saw rajahs facial expression and patted him on the shoulder before both of them walk towards raja car to drive to the nearest bar. Once they reached the bar the sat on the bar counter and ordered beer for two.

"so tell me" chirag said

"tell you what" Rajah asked even though he knew what chirag wanted coo know

Chirag stared at Rajah dead in the eye until Rajah gave in and started talking

"all right all right ill tell you," rajah started taking a deep breath in "i miss her okay. I miss the way she laughed, I miss the way she smiled at me like i was the best thing in the world, I miss it all and my anger was the reason I lost her" Raja ended with his head banging the counter. Chirag laid his hand on Rajah shoulder.

"chill man before you know it she will be yours again"Chirag comforted Rajah

"oh yeah"Rajah said not believing chirag "and how would you know

"when love is meant to be their souls will be intertwined." Chirag said "i saw the way you both looked at each other the day after you broke up. Both hearts were yielding for each others embrace. But the stubbornness of both souls wont give in. Once a soul gives in the other will accept unconditionally"

it was getting late and the two went back to rajahs place to sleep. At this time Radhika and shiva were strolling around the city when Radhika stopped Shiva saw what radhika was looking at, Rajahs house. he then walked towards radhika

"oh, princess," shiva hugged radhika "if he truly wanted you back he would have called you or something now wouldn't he"

Radhika looked to the ground and nodded. Shiva lifted her head to look at his face.

"come" he said "let me treat you for ice-cream before I leave"

Radhika nodded and the two walked up to an ice cream parlor. After radhika got her ice cream shiva received a call told radhika to sit first. He walked towards an empty area near the ice cream parlor to take the call

"hey babydoll...sorry I missed our anniversary...ill be there soon...just have some business to take care off...i love you more sugarlips...see you in 2 hours...I promise tonight its just you and me... gotta go now...later babe" he hung up the phone and walked towards where radhika was sitting.

After she finished eating shiva walked her back to the hotel and kissed her cheek before leaving on his bike which he parked near the hotel. Radhika went up to suresh place and went to her room. all she knew was she was finally at ease.
