Chapter 29. Close to victory

Another day another adventure. It was result day for rajah. radhika was so excited to find out how rajah did on his midterms. However the excitement grew to worry. She was worried that Rajah may not have the grades he wanted. She knew how hard rajah could be on himself with even the slightest failing. as she was wondering about what the results of rajahs test was she heard her phone ring. she looked at the caller id and smiled.she picked it up.

"so have you gotten the results or are you to afraid to open them" radhika joked

"i was wondering if you wanted to grab a bite while talking about the results" raja replied

"bring some food to the studio in 15 an you got yourself a deal" radhika said

"cant wait gorgeous" rajah said before hanging up the phone.

Radhika got ready and left the house. She decided to walk to the studio since it seemed like a nice day out. The wind was blowing steadily, the sun shined bright, the breeze from the trees cooled the hotness from the sun, and there was not a raincloud in sight. All radhika could think of was how happy she was to spend the day with rajah.

she arrived outside the studio when she saw rajah waiting near the entrance. she whistled out to him and he looked her way before smiling. He soon engulfed her in a hug. Radhika could smell the cologne rajah wore. the same scent he used when they met each other. the same scent he used on their first date. the same scent she smelled from his old shirts she used to wear. and the same scent he wore when they broke up. Radhika could just melt into the hug reminiscing about the good times. But she knew that one of them had to pull away. so she did.

They both then went to radhika's recording studio and sat on the sofa while grabbing the food rajah brought. Rajah then took out a piece of envelope from his pocket and opened it up. it was his midterm results. he passed. Rajah was jumping for joy. Not only did he passed. he passed with flying colors. Radhika could see the joy in rajahs expression making her smile a little. She wanted to let rajah know then and there how she felt about him. But radhika knew she was not ready for a longterm relationship.

After they finished eating radhika decided to write more songs in with a little help from rajah. Soon smithson came in with amazing news radhika's first album got nominated for an award. Radhika couldn't believe it. she was speechless. she could not even hear what was around her. She get like she was in a dream. she was so excited she could not concentrate on what else smith son said

"so what do you think" smithson asked snapping radhika out of her day dream

She did not know how to answer since she was not even listening at all. Rajah answered for radhika saying she accepts. Smithson then said he will text them the details. Radhika asked rajah about what smithson was talking about.

"not much" rajah said "but you may need to present an award and also perform"

"what?!" Radhika asked shockingly "no. take back what you said. That is not gonna happen"

"ok let me ask you a few questions" rajah said "are you grateful you got the opportunity to live your dream" radhika nodded

"do you feel totally out of this world excited when you heard the good news" rajah asked radhika again nodded

"are you thankful and would want to follow your dream till you reach the top"ajah asked radhika nodded knowing where the questions were leading up

"so why not start from the most viewed award ceremony to be your first step to victory" rajah asked
