chapter 30. And the winner is...

Radhika woke up to the sound of her alarm. she pressed snooze and tried to doze off again. But she knew she couldn't. the award ceremony was only a few hours away. She didn't feel like going though. With all the drama from karla and now adding shiva to the mix. She knew she could not handle it. Soon there was a knock on the door and the door slightly opened. Radhika knew exactly who it was without even taking her eat out of the blanket.

"aren't you supposed to be up by now" raja joked carrying a breakfast tray into the room

"i'm not going" radhika groaned from under the blanket

"to much pressure huh" rajah said placing the gray on the nightstand.

Silence filled the room. The silence indicated an answer only rajah and radhika understood. Rajah sighed before sitting next to radices body.

"i know its a bit tough to handle wit all the drama thats been going on" rajah said slowly pulling the blanket down to reveal radhika's face "but you know i will be there through it all no matter what"

"i know" radhika sighed sitting up "i'm just not ready for all the drama you know"

"i know and i wouldn't blame you" rajah said taking the tray to put on the bed "but you gotta show them your stronger tan they realize by looking fierce and showing up to the awards. That will show them that you are more stronger ten they realize. And who knows you may even win"

Radhika smiled and nodded before digging in to her breakfast rajah made. Rajah ten explained what their day will hold. he then told radhika to get ready as manimegle will come in awhile to treat her for a spa day before the award ceremony. He then left to get ready as well. Radhika finished eating her breakfast before getting ready to go out.

A couple minutes pass by before there was a knock on the door. Raja opened it to reveal Rajesh and manimegle. Rajah let them in explaining tat radhika was not feeling great due to all the drama. Radhika soon emerged and hugged manimegle tighter than usual. Manimegle knew exactly what was happening. She told Rajesh and raja to get the car while the mother and daughter talked. The two gentleman left the ouse as radhika and manimegle sat on the couch.

"whats wit your mood today" manimegle asked

"just nervous about the award ceremony i guess" radhika shrugged

"come on radhika. I know theres something more" manimegle said lovingly placing her hands on radhika's lap "you know you can tell me anything"

Radio looked at her before looking at the floor. Radhika started to tear up and cry. Se then told manimegle everything that happened yesterday. The showdown with shiva, the drive wit raja, the drunk night with rajah which ended with a confession from him. Radhika was so confused and stressed se didn't know what to do. Manimegle's maternal instinct kicked in when she hugged radhika. Manimegle rubbed radhikas back as she whispered "its going to be fine" over and over again.

"its not the end of the world baby" manimegle said "at least he gave you time and space to think"

"i don't need to think ma" radhika said "i know I love I'm him"

"then whats the problem" manimegle asked

"with all tats append" radhika started "i don't know who to trust and if its the right time to..."

"fall in love again" manimegle finished her sentence. Radhika nodded. "in my opinion he seems like a guy you can trust. he has not sown me any reasons to not allow you to date him." Manimegle explained "but in the end it is ultimately your decision in life and whatever you choose I will be by your side trough it all."
