"Life is a journey, not a destination."

You couldn't care less about some classmate of yours getting scold by your one and only professor. Or said professor decides to be extra grumpy today. You couldn't care less even if Blue embarrassed you right here right now. You'll have to set it aside for a moment and ponder upon some random thing that left your Professor's mouth...

"Okay class our activity today and for the next days involve going out the school and travel across the region."

You couldn't just wrap it around your head. It was so unbelievable and impossible. It really caught you off guard. What you had in mind was you'll go to school, do the usual boring routine, eat lunch, lessons again then go home. That was what you're expecting, not this sudden proposal from your Professor.

Though, you'll have to admit you pretty much like the idea of venturing.

One of the main reasons is probably because you haven't experience traveling. At all. As much as you like the prospect of journeying with your own Pokémon, there are many things that hold you back. Who would take care of the house? Will you even be safe?

In short, excitement is gradually pumping through your veins as you listen carefully for Prof. Acacia.

"Do anyone have an objection about our activity, if yes you may not join, however a daily essay would be tasked to each who didn't join. Now anyone please raise your hand if you are oppose to this."

How your Professor put her arrangement into words was very threatening, like she didn't want any students against the activity. Maybe she just wanted her student's gone for a while, for it is tiring seeing your face every day, she needed a rest.

As expected, no one dared to raise their hands. The idea of writing daily essays is an abomination to the students. Besides, who would pick that one instead of a chance to travel the region together with your Pokémon and perhaps even your friends and classmates? Only an idiot.

"Now I'll explain the rules and your primary goal whilst venturing throughout the region. Everyone would travel in groups, particularly six people. Each and every one of you is to be given a special Pokétch for the sole communication of you and us professors. What your goal is to defeat three gym leaders, anyone is fine. Bear this in mind that the gym leaders won't be in there gym, they are scattered across the region."

Groans of complaints emanated from the throat of your classmates, although the professor is unfazed by it and continues her instructions.

"We would provide you with hints and riddles about the gym leader's location, you don't need to worry it will be easy. Anyone in your group is okay to fight any gym leaders however make sure each of you would experience a battle."

Perking up like a kitty was your ears, presumably because of your overjoyed state that you almost didn't listen to your professor and just drifts to La La Land. But what's bothering for a while now is if you can catch and use your own or you would be provided with rental Pokémon.

"Have any questions, please raise your hand."

She took notice of your outstretched arm and gestured you to stand up. "Yes Ms. (y/n), what is it?"

Wow unlike usual, her stares weren't making you nervous and your words flowed through your mouth with ease. "My questions are if you would provide us with rental Pokémon or we would use our own Pokémon? And is catching wild Pokémon on the way accepted?"
