25: A Guide To The Perfect Manicure

- get your supplies together:

have a best and clean workspace. gather all your things that you need

- remove the old polish:

use cotton balls, go ahead and swipe some polish remover and gently remove the old polish that you don't want

- cut & file them:

trim your nails with a nail clipper. cut it so you can be able to see a thin, white line across. file your nails and create a smooth & clean shape

- soak them:

get a bowl with lukewarm water with a few drops of soap. leave your hands in there for about 2-3 minutes and dry with a washcloth

- apply hand cream or lotion:

using hand cream or lotion, pour some on your hand and gently rub it

- apply a base coat:

simply & carefully apply a clear base coat to your nails

- paint your nails:

pick a color that you really like. take out the brush and very carefully start painting your nails. start from bottom to top. try to paint as much as you can on the sides. you can go for different patterns, too

- let it dry, & paint another coat:

wait for 10-15 minutes for it to dry. you may also use a fan for quicker results. then apply the second coat, repeating the same steps

- last, paint the final coat:

again, wait 10-15 minutes for the second coat to dry. paint the clear and final coat and enjoy your perfect manicure
