Annie's POV
It was night and cold when we were driving off and the heater was broken.We were on a highway and I wanted my blanket out of the backseat, but I didn't want them to pull over just for me to get my blanket, so I crawled up in a ball.

I was texting Jayden since I miss her.

Annie- jaybae!!
Jayden- annie banannie!
Annie- i miss you sooooo much!
Jayden- me too! it's not the same without you
Annie- same here. how's vacation?
Jayden- pretty good! you?
Annie- crazy story, im on a road trip with my mom, mr.jimmy and hayden. but it's not as bad as i expected.
Jayden- wow. i gtg
Annie- kk byeee!

I put my phone next to me and sigh quietly. "Cold?" I hear Hayden. I turn my head to him. "Yeah." I said. He took of his sweatshirt. "Here, it'll help." He said handing it to me.

"Won't you be cold?" I said before taking it. He shook his head. "Nah. I don't get cold easily. Plus, you need it more then I do." He softly giggled. I smiled and took it from him. I put it on and it was soft. It smelled like him too.

"Thanks." I said before looking out the window. "No problem."

"Okay kids, we're pulling over for the night." My mom said pulling into a parking lot. We nodded. I was honestly really uncomfortable sleeping in a sitting position.
Hayden's POV
I noticed Annie trying to stretch her legs. "Annie, you can put your feet on my lap if you want." I said admiring her eyes. "No, that's fine. You already gave me your hoodie. And besides, you would be uncomfortable." She said.

"I'm used to it." I said smiling. She nodded and kicked off her shoes and stretched her legs. "Thanks Hay. Goodnight." "Night Annie." And we were out like a light.
