12|Cabin Fever

annie's pov
-
"we're almost to the cabin!" mr.jimmy said. we were driving to a snow resort and stopping there for about two days. but i'm pretty sure it's going to be more.

"excited?" hayden asked smiling at me. "yep! mostly so i can show you down in snowboarding." i smirked. "i'll have you know i've been snowboarding since i was 8!" hayden said defensively.

i laughed. he scooted closer to me and whispered in my ear. "i'll tickle you later." i just pushed him away and giggled.

-time skip after the ride-

we arrived at the resort and it looked the a winter wonderland. snow covering the floor, you can see people sledding, skiing, snowboarding and a lot of shops.

we grabbed our bags and walked to the lobby. hayden and i waited in the waiting room. "hey remember that dinner date?" he asked. i nodded my head. "how about we have dinner tonight?" he asked. a huge smile appeared on my face. "i'd love too."

mom and mr.jimmy handed us our keys. while their room had two bedrooms, ours only had one. i didn't mind sharing with hayden obviously.

we walked to our cabin. it was kinda hard since we had to walk.... wait, no more like waddle through the thick snow.

i tossed my bags on the floor and jumped in the bed, falling on my back. hayden did the same. "make me a promise this time." he said. "and was that?" i asked him.

"that you won't fall and or go out with another guy this time." hayden said. i laughed and turned over so now i was laying on my stomach. i gave hayden a soft kiss on his cheek.

"don't worry, i've got my eyes on someone." i smiled. hayden smiled and got out of bed. "i'm taking a shower." he said. after hayden went in the bathroom i just scrolled through my phone.

when i heard the shower water turn off, out came a shirtless hayden. i think i was staring for too long. "like what you see?" he smirked. i got out of bed and wrapped my arms around hayden.

"eh." i joked. he pushed me onto the bed. "really?" he whispered. i decided to tease him a little. i lightly bit my bottom lip and stared into his eyes.

i could feel him getting hard so i laughed and pushed him off me. "heyyyy that's not fair." hayden pouted sitting on the bed. "hey, friends with benefits. i'm not yours yet." i winked.

"now, i'm going to shower and then we can go on our date." i smiled. "can i join you?" hayden wiggled his eyebrows. "um no." i smirked. i got in the bathroom and turned on the shower.

i waited for the water to get cold and hayden walked in. "did you forget something?" i asked. "no," he said getting closer to me. he backed me up to the wall and held my hands above my head.

"i want you so bad right now." hayden whispered. he lightly kissed my neck, sending butterflies in my stomach. i knew this was wrong, but i didn't stop him.

after awhile, i pushed him off. "okay enough. out." i said pointing to the door. he laughed and i locked the door.

i finished showering and got ready for our date. i walked out of the bathroom and saw hayden dressed up. i smiled and walked up to him. "you, look beautiful." he smiled.

"thanks." i mumbled trying not to blush. he lifted my chin up, letting our wondering eyes lock. "you know you don't have to hide your blushing. it's cute." he said.

-skip to restaurant-

it was a really fancy restaurant. winter themed for sure. we walked to the front where a waiter greeted us. "reservation?" he asked. "summerall." hayden replied. "right this way."

we followed him outside to a private balcony. it overviewed the snowy mountains and forest.

hayden took my hands over the table. "annie, we started out a strangers, then enemies. and i am so thankful for this trip bringing us close together. so, i wanted to ask. will you make me the happiest man on earth and be my girlfriend?" hayden asked.

omg. did he just say that. "of course i will!" i smiled. he smiled back. when the waiter came we gave him our orders.

-after dinner-

hayden and i were changed and cuddled up on the bed. "i'm so happy i met you." i said into his chest. "and i'm happy you're mine."
