i was getting ready for the casino party tonight. mom already knew and she was okay with it as long as i was with hayden. "annie, are you almost ready?" hayden asked impatiently.

"almost!" i responded finishing up my mascara. from the corner of my eye, i see him walk in and lean against the doorframe.

"why do you wear makeup?" he asked me. "because, i look prettier with it on." i said keeping my focus on my mascara.

"don't say that. you look beautiful without it. you have natural beauty!" hayden protested. "done! and, thank you for the compliment summerall." i smiled.

"it wasn't a compliment annie, i'm serious." he said following me out of the bathroom. "thank you." i smiled. he gave me a charming smile back.

hayden and i walked out to the casino party together. since it was right next to the hotel, we didn't have to walk very far.

as we entered, i could hear loud, ear bleeding music. teens dancing, red solo cups on the floor, gambling, teens throwing up and smell alcohol in the air.

i basically almost barfed. "i'm gonna go on a lim here, and assume you've never had alcohol?" hayden chuckled.

"never in my life will i drink." i said rolling my eyes. he shrugged his shoulders. "suite yourself leblanc." he said walking to the bar. i followed him.

"hayden summerall, don't you dare." i said to him as he got vodka from the bartender. "chill annie. it's just one drink." he winked.

with that, he chugged it down. i rolled my eyes. 10$ he's going to get drunk. "annie!" i heard a familiar voice call out. i turn around to see harvey.

"hey harvey!" i smiled giving him a hug. out of the corner of my eye, i could see hayden glaring at harvey.

"so, who's this?" harvey asked motioning hayden. "harvey, this is hayden. hayden, this is harvey." I said not so sure hayden would be pleased.

"sup bro." hayden said, they did a bro hug thing. "aye mate." harvey responded. "so are you guys from vegas?" harvey asked us.

"actually we're from la. we're on a road trip." i said. he smiled and nodded. "you have very pretty eyes." harvey complimented.

i blushed and hayden walked away. what's his problem? he isn't jealous, is he? harvey and i talked a bit more until we headed to the dance floor.

as we we're dancing, he kept flirting with me. i honestly kinda felt uncomfortable. "i should get going." i said. he nodded.

i quickly left and went to go find hayden. i saw him talking to some dudes. "hayden, can we go please?" i said resting my hand on his shoulder.

i could tell he was mad at me, but at the same time he could see the fear in my eyes. he nodded and we walked back to the hotel in silence.

as soon as we entered the hotel, "why did you want to come home so soon? i thought you were having a good time." he said sitting on the couch.

"sorry, it's just that, harvey was flirting with me and i got uncomfortable." i said rubbing my arm. "oh. i didn't know you were sensitive. you could have told me." hayden said sympathetically.

"nah it's fine. you could go back if you want." i said. "nah it's fine. it was boring anyways." he said smiling. i smiled back and quickly got changed into something more comfortable.

when i got out of the bathroom, hayden went in. i realized my mom messaged me.

mom- hey sweetie. let me know when you're back :)
annie- hey mom! hayden and i came back earlier then expected. but we're good.
mom- perfect! be sure to get some rest because mr.jimmy, hayden you and i are going to have a blast tomorrow!
annie- sounds amazing! night mom xx
mom- night annie banannie

as soon as i put my phone away, hayden came out of the bathroom. i explained what my mom said. "wanna sleep like now?" i asked.

"we don't have too. it's only like 8:45." hayden said looking down at his phone. "wanna watch a movie?" i asked smiling.

hayden nodded and smiled. we chilled on the couch and watched a sad movie. i rested my head on his shoulder.

perfect.
