annie's pov

i woke up, hospital lights surrounding me. i look over to my right, a sleeping hayden. then to my left, mom and mr.jimmy.
"hay." i say with a dead raspy voice. it took my a few more tries to wake him up. he blinked a few times before looking at me. "hey anns. i'll get a nurse." he smiled.
after hayden got the nurse, she told me that i was very lucky. i had a broken arm. other then that, i was fine.
"annie im so sorry. i didn't ever mean for you to get hurt." hayden said. i smiled and got out of my hospital bed. i gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
"it's not your fault." i said. "well, all this driving, makes me hungry." mr.jimmy said making this awkward for me. i totally forgot our parents were in the room.
"oh, um. yeah. food sounds great." i said. hayden laughed and slung his arm on my shoulder. "don't worry, i told them about us." he smiled.
i sighed in relief.
