10|Changing Everything

Right now my mom and Mr.Jimmy went to go grab Hayden and I breakfast which left Hayden and I in the car. Alone.

We are in the middle of an argument over a picture I took a Vegas. "Come on Annie! You should definitely post it!" He said keeping my phone away.

"No! Now give me my phone back!" I almost shouted trying to grab my phone. "You look so pretty in it!" He said eyeing the picture.

"Thank you, but, I'm not posting that picture! At least not yet." I said. He rolled his eyes. "Fine!" Hayden said with a high pitched voice. I laughed as he handed me my phone back.

I scrolled threw my feed until, "okay kiddos we're back!" My mom said handing us breakfast. Hayden and I enjoyed it as we drove off.

Out the window I could see tall, forest like trees. I'm guessing it is a forest. Blue, shimmering lakes, with bears and other wildlife. It was an amazing nature sight.

"Wanna guess what we're doing?" Mr.Jimmy said, parking nearby a shack. "Um, fishing?" Hayden said. "Nope." My mom smiled. "Hunting?" I suggested.

Hayden looked at me wide eyed. "What?" I shrugged. "I've hunted." I said defensively. "Were....hiking in a forest!" Mr.Jimmy said excitedly.

"So, change into something you can hike in. Also bring important items." My mom said getting out of the car. I followed out to the truck. I grabbed my duffle bag and walked into the shack.

I changed into short shorts, with snickers and a tank top. I put my hair into a bun and walked out. I put my duffle bag away as Hayden came next to me.

"Excited?" He asked. "Um I guess." I said with wondering eyes. It felt a little awkward. "Do you know where we are?" I asked trying to break the awkward tension. "Not so sure. But according to the map. We're in Yosemite national park." He said sarcastically.

I laughed and rolled my eyes and waited for Mr.Jimmy and mom. They finally came out. "Okay, so, there are two trails. We can't spilt up." Mr.Jimmy said looking at the map.

We agreed that I'll go with Hayden and the adults will go together. "Well, let's go Summerall!" I said running deeper into the forest.

"Right after you LeBlanc!" He said running behind me.

We've been walking for a good 10 minutes. "Annie?" Hayden says. "Yeah Hayden?" "Can I be honest with you?" He said keeping his eyes on the trail.

"Of course." I say with matter. "Um, this road trip isn't really fun. Don't get me wrong here, I love how we became friends and how we're going to different places, but, it's kinda boring." Hayden said stopping.

I stoped too to face him. "You're right." I plain out said. "So, how do we make it more interesting?" He asked. "Let's tell your dad and my mom that we think it's boring. Maybe they can help out." I suggested.

"Sounds good. Let's finish this hike." I said walking. But before I could take another step, Hayden took my wrist and spun my around.

"Nah." He smirked. I giggled and rolled my eyes. "Well, then, what do insist on doing?" I said. "This." He said. Before I could say anything else,

His soft lips were on mine. I was shocked but kissed back. It felt magical. Like, the perfect kiss. A fairytale kiss. I pulled away and blushed a little.

Hayden chuckled and we continued walking. "Why did you kiss me?" I blurted out. I didn't mean to say that out loud! "You didn't like the kiss?" He asked hurt.

"No, I didn't mean-" "Annie chill, I know what you mean." He laughed. We continued the hike. We stopped in the middle of it for a quick break.

"Wanna tell them like, now?" He asked. "Sure." I said I took my phone out of my backpack and called up my mom.

Annie- Mom?
Mom- Annie! How's the hike? Are you okay?
Annie- Yeah I'm fine. It's just that, hayden and I had something important to tell you.
Mom- Go ahead sweetie.
Annie- Well, we think the roadtrip is kinda boring.
My mom stayed silent for like 10 seconds.
Mom- Well, I'll give you two options. One, you and Hayden can fly back to California and me and Mr.Jimmy can continue the trip. Or, the both of you can invite some friends and take your own roadtrip!
Annie- The second option! Thank you mom!
Mom. Anytime. Bye sweetheart. I'll let Mr.Jimmy know. Be sure to find a hotel for you and Hayden. See you back at Cali!

I ended the call and explained everything to Hayden. "That sounds amazing!" He said excited. "Yeah I know! Who do you wanna invite?" I said.

"Hm, Im gonna call up Johnny and Conner." He smiled. "Great! I would call up Jayden, but she's on vacation. I guess I'll call up Lexi and Kenz." I said

Hayden and I finished our phone calls and they told us they would be here tomorrow.

Maybe this drive won't be so bad after all.

Should I discontinue this story? Cause I'm not recalling liking this one. I have a better idea for another Hannie fanfic I was planning.

Let me know if I should discontinue this one and start a new Hannie fanfic.
