9|Leaving Vegas

"There you kids are! What took you so long?" My mom asked us. Hayden and I looked at each other and bursted out laughing.

"Well anyways, we were thinking of going to an opening opera!" Mr.Jimmy said smiling. I wasn't really interested in that kind of stuff. On the look on Hayden's face, seemed like he didn't either.

"Um, is it okay if Annie and I skip the opera." Hayden said trailing his voice. "That's fine. But you're missing out on something cool." Mr.Jimmy said almost smirking.

Hayden rolled his eyes while I giggle. Hayden took my hand and we walk out. "I can't believe I woke up for that." I said disgusted. Hayden just laughed.

"Piggy back ride?" He insisted. "Yes!" I say jumping up and down. He smiles and lets me get on his back. He puts his arms under my thigh for support. I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Where to my princess?" He asked like a dramatically being royal. I blushed at the fact he called me his princess. "Frozen Yogurt peasant!" I said jokingly point to the fro yo shop.

Hayden ran there with me still on his back. We both laughed as we hopped off. We both got our frozen yogurt and Hayden paid for it.

"I wanted to pay!" I said sticking my lower lip out as we sat down. "Oh don't be such a baby." He joked. I giggled.

Hayden and I were just having fun and talking. That was ruined by Harvey walking in, holding hands with another girl.

"Oh Hey Annie and Hayden!" He smiled walking over to us with the girl. "Oh, hey Harvey." I said with a hurt voice.

"Meet my girlfriend, Carly." He said smiling. Girlfriend? My heart ached a bit. I don't know why. I just met Harvey a couple days ago.

I think Hayden noticed I was upset since he took my hand and pulled me out of the fro yo shop. "How does dinner sound tonight?" He smiled.

"Dinner? As in a dinner date?" I said automatically regretting my words. "Yep. A dinner date." He smiled. I smiled back unsure.

"Well until then, let's go!" He smiled. I was confused of where he was talking about, but I went with it.

I also in the moment remembered we would be leaving Las Vegas tonight. "Hayden, we're leaving Vegas tonight. How are we suppose to go on a dinner date?" I asked.

He stopped and looked at me. "Good point. I guess we'll have to pause on the date." He winked. I laughed and we continued roaming the city.

It's been 4 hours of us walking and it's time to head to our next destination. "Alrighty kids say bye to Vegas!" Mr.Jimmy said.

Hayden and I got in the back and chilled. "Where to next?" I asked yawning, snuggling up in my blanket.

"We don't know yet." My mom winked. I shook it of and fell asleep.
