"You won't believe what happened today!" Annie said with a huge smile plastered on her face.
"Same here," I mumbled.
"What happened with you and Tyler? You know, I always suspected something going on with you two."
"Me and Tyler aren't a thing. But you go first?"
"Craig said he loved me!"
"Woah, what did you say to him."
"Well obviously I said I loved him too!" She exclaimed.
"Do you though?"
"Well of course I do. I wouldn't say something I didn't mean that is that big."
"Ok..."
"Oh my gosh you need a boyfriend. Speaking of boyfriends, tell me about today at Tyler's house."
"Well... I get there, and then he tickled me-"
"Woah, go on!" She had a smile of anticipation on her face.
"Then he leaned down to kiss me..."
"Why so many cliff hangers! Just tell me you little ho!"
"Calm down, it's not that serious. I didn't reject him. And he said you have no idea how long I've waited for that."
Annie's jaw dropped. She then started screaming with a huge smile plastered on her face. "Oh my gosh!"
"Then... We kissed until you called," I said with a little disappointment in my voice.
"Well sorry, of I knew you were getting some, I would've waited."
"That would've been nice," I mumbled under my breath.

We were driving to the carnival. It was me, Annie, Jared, and Craig. Craig and Annie were cuddling in the back. Annie was giggling in Craig's neck. I laid stiff in my seat. My heart was racing.
Every now and then I would sneak glances at Jared. I didn't want to to this, but I needed answers.
We pulled up in a parking space a couple blocks from the carnival grounds.
"We're here children," Jared said turning off the car. We hop out the car and start walking. They were talking about some girl on a vine, I was in and out the conversation.
"Reg, buy your band," a male voice said. I looked up and realized that we were at the ticket both. Everyone there was waiting for me impatiently. Everyone except Jared. He just chuckled and checked his phone.
"How much, 20 right?" I asked opening my wallet grabbing a 20.
"Yes ma'am," the boy said behind the ticket booth. I gave him the money and put on the paper band. We went inside the park grounds.
We had road majority of the rides and just finished eating dinner.
Jared and I were waking around the park grounds eating an ice cream cone.
"So, any new girls in your life?" I asked.
"Well, I got my eyes locked on one special lady," he answered.
"Oh, do tell," I said.
"Well, I've known her for a while now and..."
"Let me know, tell me about her about who she us!"
"Well she's very impatient and has the most beautiful smile. She's quiet until she's comfortable. She's not very popular, and really smart. And..."
Before he could finished I grabbed his face and smashed it into mine. I pulled back and he had his eyes wide open in shock. I couldn't tell if it was a good out bad thing.
"What was that about?" he asked.
I got embarrassed and turned away to hide my blush.
"No, don't do that to me Regan."
"What am I doing?"
"You're hiding, what was that kiss about?"
"Well..."
"Just tell me." His expression was sincere. It was comforting, a look that told me no matter what I won't judge you.
"Well, you see it started a few weeks ago..." Then I told him everything. I told him all the signs he has given me and how I thought that maybe I liked him too but I wasn't 100% sure if I did or not. I confessed to him everything, everything except mine and Tyler's encounter today.
"So um yeah," I finished off.
His face was hard to read. He rubbed along his jaw line.
"Well, are you going to say something?" I said nervous of the answer but anxious at the same time.
"Do you really like me?"
"No, yes, maybe, a little, I don't know. You're my brother, blood or not. How many people have a crush on their brother? I mean that's weird isn't i-"
This time he grabbed my face and pressed his lips softly on mine. He then brought his lips to my ear and said,"You were right, I do like you." He then put his lips back on mine.
After getting dirty looks from strangers we decided to get Annie and Craig to go home.
