Assassins (Killua x Reader)

Chapter 6

(Y/N) POV
We had waited a for about a day now in this small room and it was boring.

"So why are you taking the hunter exam Kurapika?" I asked him out of sheer boredom

"Well I'm from the curta clan and we were killed by the phantom troupe so I am seeking them out for revenge." He answered

"Oh the phantom troupe I have worked with them before but there is only one mission that I remember. I was hired, for a lot of money by the way, to help kill this entire village and after I was done killing them the spider scooped their eyes out I don't know why though." I said

That's when I realized what that village was that I killed. 'Oh crap' I thought. I was already on the other side of the room by the time Kurapika stood up.

"Hey calm down nobody has to get hurt." I pleaded

"You helped the phantom troupe kill my clan and you think I'll let you live!?" He yelled

"Ok fine have it your way." I said as my hair covered my eyes and a scary aura appeared around me.

That's when I noticed someone step in between us. When I looked up it was Killua.

"What are you doing?" I questioned in a deadly tone.

He completely ignored me and started talking to Kurapika.

"If so much as touch her I'll kill you." He stated coldly.

"Fine." Kurapika finally gave in.

"Thanks." I whispered

We laid down and he suddenly hugged me from behind. I started to protest but he told me it was to make sure Kurapika didn't try anything in the middle of the night. I was to tired to fight with him so I just let him stay there.

Killua's POV
'I can't believe I am sleeping by her she smells really nice... wait what?!' I thought to my self as I drifted to sleep.

Time skip

I awoke to see (Y/N)'s sleeping face 'she looks so cute when she sleeps. What am I thinking it's not like I love her or anything... wait do I love her?!' I thought. I was thinking so hard I didn't notice (Y/N) wake up she noticed me staring and flicked my forehead.

"Oww what was that for baaaaka." I practically screamed.

(Y/N) POV
When I woke up I saw Killua next to me and a light shade of pink dusted my cheeks. 'Is he starring at me?' I questioned myself. I flicked him on the forehead because he was so lost in thought he yelled at me for the act.

"Maybe you shouldn't zone out if you don't want to get hurt." I simply stated.

"Well maybe you shouldn't be such a jerk!" He yelled back.

I got pissed and walked away. He and Gon were riding Killua's skate board and playing with Gon's fishing rod while I stared at a wall. At some point the two of them got tired and stoped Killua was "burning to death" so he took off his shirt. I looked over and noticed his bear chest 'omg he has an eight pack is that even possible?' I thought.

"Hey (Y/N) are you all right?" Gon asked me

"Ya, why?" I questioned

"Your nose is bleeding." He said while pointing

I rushed to the bathroom and cleaned my face off.

We finally existed that room and were now standing in a room about the same size only this one had weapons lining the walls. We were instructed that we needed to chose between two paths to get to the end, X for the long path and O for the short path. If we chose the short path only four of us could go. I saw an ax being swung at my head so I swiftly dodged and grabbed a few daggers off the wall. When I looked to see who had attacked me it was none other than Tonpa.

"Do you really want to die today cause if you don't I would suggest you put that ax down." I said in a terrifying tone.

"Well two of us have to stay here and it is certainly not going to be me." He spat back

"Well if you guys try to continue this pointless fight me and Killua will end up being the ones to choose who stays here and who comes." I replied

"Why in the world would we let you choose who stays and Who goes." He retaliated

"Maybe because we are the strongest ones in the room." I said winning the fight.

"Guys wait I think I know how all of us can go through the short path." Gon said in a thoughtful tone

He went on to explain that we could go through the long path and use the weapons to break through the wall to the short path. We all agreed on the plan and made it to the next room just in the nick of time.
