Assassins (Killua x Reader)

Chapter 2

(Y/N) POV
Satoz told us to continue following him through the swamp, he also said that it was very foggy so we needed to stay close to him.

He was soon interrupted by man yelling saying Satoz was a fake examiner, he said that the man was the real examiner. He dragged out some sort of creature that resembled Satoz. Three cards suddenly flew toward Satoz and the mysterious man, nearly hitting me.

Satoz caught the three cards that were thrown his way. The other man, however, was hit by the cards and fell on the ground, dead.

"This means he is the real examiner because the examiners are also hunters, so they should be able to easily stop that simple attack." A creepy clown looking man said.

Everyone was silent and we finally stared running again. The three of us lost sight of the people in front of us and we were swallowed by a giant frog. I was prepared to cut this thing up from the inside out but before I could do anything, Killua poured some juice that he had got from Tonpa, into the giant frogs mouth. Causing him to throw us up.

"I guess it didn't like the taste of us." Gon said.

"No, it could probably just tell that there were laxatives in the juice, it was pretty obvious." I said wiping that things, sticky, saliva off of me.

We began walking when Gon turned around and said that he needed to go find Kurapika, and Leorio. 'Who is Kurapika' I thought to myself but decided not to question him.

Gon ran off leaving me and Killua alone together. We began walking again, we walked in awkward silence until we caught up to Satoz.

He told us that this was the end of phase one and we just had to wait till the time limit was up, so we decided to go sit under a tree and wait for Gon.

After we had waited for a few hours I started to get slightly worried. A few hours later I began pacing, killua pulled me next to him and gave me a hug telling me it was going to be ok. Soon after, Gon, Leorio, and a blond haired guy who I assumed to be Kurapika walked up.

"What took you so long (Y/N) was starting to worry" Killua stated putting his hands behind his head.

"I was not worried!" I yelled at him, as he just laughed.

"Really then why did you start pacing?" He says conveniently leaving out the part where he had comforted me.

I didn't say anything I just stood there and glared daggers at him. Finally the time was up and we moved onto the second phase.

Menchi, and Buhara were the phase two examiners Menchi had turquoise hair and green eyes, Buhara had black hair and black eyes.

In the second phase we were told to cook, our main ingredient was pork. We all ran into the forest to go get the pork we needed. Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, and I just followed Gon who found a hill that we slid down.

Gon came to a sudden stop at the bottom of the hill followed by Killua, and me yelling at him in sync "Hey what was that for!" That was when we all noticed that the pigs, they were eating well more like chewing on, bones?

The pigs started to stampede towards us and of course our first instinct, was to kill them...or run, I mean that's good to.

We ran up the hill and dodged the pigs, one of the pigs ran into a tree at full speed but wasn't phased by this until apples from the tree started falling on the pigs forehead, at that moment it collapsed on the ground.

'Its forehead, that's its weakness' I thought to my self. I killed the pig I needed and checked to see if the others had gotten their pigs. Each had one pig so we headed back towards where Menchi, and Buhara were.

When we arrived everyone was roasting their pigs and many people had already failed. We cooked our pigs then waited to see how we could appease both examiners. We came to the conclusion that we just needed to make our pigs look original. We each put something on top of our pigs like a flower crown or a tiny flag and then presented it to the examiners.

They said that everyone had failed so no one would be passing the hunter exam that year. Everyone was outraged we yelled at Menchi because she was the only person to fail every single person Buhara said everyone had passed.

As we were complaining an airship came over head and an old man with a long, weirdly shaped beard, jumped down from the airship. He lectured Menchi about how she can't fail every applicant.

She gave in and we all hopped into the air ship to ride to Mt. split in half for a retake of phase two.
