Assassins (Killua x Reader)

Chapter 22

(Y/N) POV

After waking up I heard the mail slot open and close. 'Who gets mail at a hotel?' I questioned myself.

"Hey (Y/N)-chan it's for you!" Gon shouted across the room.

"For me?" I ask more to myself. "Oh,I didn't think I still got these." I exclaim.

"What is it?" A sleepy Killua asks.

"An assassination request." I respond nonchalantly.

"(Y/N)-chan you're an assassin?!" Gon comments in surprise while Killua and I sweat drop in the corner.

"You didn't know Gon? It even tells you in the descript- umm never mind." I begin stopping myself mid sentence.

"Of course she is an assassin Gon, open your eyes" Killua shouts at Gon.

"Well it looks like I have a job to do so I'll be off now, bye." I explain and begin walking toward the door.

"Wait you are actually taking the job?" Killua asks me concern lacing his tone.

"Of course I am they were kind enough to find where I was staying." I observe plainly.

"Kind enough?" Gon and Killua ask in sync while I walk out the door.

As I left I made sure to grab my (F/C) cloak to hide my face and the fact that I was a girl. I know I shouldn't hide the fact that I'm a girl, but I get tired of the other guys thinking I cant work the job because I'm a girl, so I began hiding the fact early in my career.

When I got to where we were supposed to meet I noticed Zeno and Silva Zoldyck walking into the same building I was supposed to be in. 'Are they working the same job as me?' I ponder to my self and before I know it I am in the room I was asked to meet in.

"That should be all of you here now." The person, who seemed to be the boss, said.

"No the Nostrade family is sending someone in to help." Another person corrected.

The first person seemed very upset by this fact. After about a minute Kurapika walked into the room. 'He is working for the Nostrade family?' I contemplated. The boss then explained to us that we were hired to kill the phantom troupe.

"Ok we should come up with code names, mine will be blue." An "assassin" in a blue shirt said. 'Wow very original.' I thought rolling my eyes.

"You can call me red." Another "genius" in a red shirt commented.

"I'm Zeno and this is Silva." Zeno stated pointing at Silva.

"What kind of code names are those?" Someone laughed. 

"We go by our real names." Zeno explained.

"Wait Zeno and Silva?! These guys are from the Zoldyck family!" One of the people finally noticed.

"You guys hired these monsters?!" Blue questioned the two people in charge.

The two men never gave an answer and everyone turned to me for what my code name would be.

"My name is (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N) that is my real name and that is what I will go by" I declare.

"(Y/N), isn't that the number one assassin in the world?" Blue asks.

"Ya, but there is no way you are (Y/N), from what I have heard she's a girl you are clearly a guy." Red confidently says.

I just sigh heavily and take my cloak off.

"I thought it would take a little bit longer for word to get out I was a girl." I announce.

"Well there is no way you can fight better than we can because not only are you a girl but you are like 10 years old." Red remarks.

"Actually I'm twelve and I could easily take you out in a single blow." I note with a tick mark on my head.

After that conversation Kurapika said he wanted to work alone so we took a vote to work in teams or alone and of course working alone won so we split up to do what we wanted.

(Time skip to when the phantom troupe gets there)

After the arrival of the phantom troupe I noticed most of the others that were hired were getting killed. I also noticed that the closest member to me was on a roof so I quickly headed there carful not to be seen or heard. When I made it to the roof I saw that it was Hisoka, standing and watching the fight. I snuck up on him and tried to scare him but instead of a funny reaction he turned around with a card to my neck. As soon as he turned around I also had a dagger to his stomach.

"Hiso-chan you didn't think you could avoid the fight all together did you?" I questioned an evil smirk growing on my face.

"Actually I did you are the only person who would notice me here unless I wanted them to." He explained.

"Well I was hired to help kill the phantom troupe and you seemed to be the easiest to get to Hiso-chan." I add.

Before I could move Hisoka's hand was on my throat and my feet could no longer touch the ground.

"You know (Y/N) I'm getting kind of tired of that nick name, I think its time for a new one." He darkly said.

I simply shook my head, kicked him where the sun don't shine, sprung off my hands, then landed on my feet.

"Sorry Hiso-chan, I quite like that nick name." I giggled.
