Chapter Seven : Horns

I realisation hit me whilst I was waiting patiently for Lucifer to bring me my food .

He said that he owned my soul therefore owned me .

My eyes narrowed all on their own and my brows took a deadly turn downward .
He did not Own me .

I suddenly felt flushed.
He was obviously standing the doorway of the cave but couldn't see him , my back was facing him as I was staring at the wall of the cave .

" I tried to find the food that best suited you on earth . So all I found was Twinkies and two energy drinks . "

I didn't even look at him as I answered .
" Why ? "
I heard him scoff behind me .
He was closer now .
" What do you mean by Why ? "

Again I didn't turn but just answered innocently .
" Why trick me ? "
I sighed .
" Actually what I mean is why trick me ? What makes me different from every evil soul you've ... How do I put this ... Doped ? "

I heard him plop whatever he was holding down on the floor and place his muscular arms around my waist .
He put his face in my moon-white hair and softly sigh .

" Lucifer ... "
I inwardly groaned as I felt how his arms fit perfectly around me .
Get your head out of your ass Coco !
My head was screaming at me .

And I did .
I pushed at his arms which I thought wouldn't do anything but was surprised when he let me go .
I turned to look at his Perfectly handsome face and scowled.
I hate that he was so perfect because it made being angry with him very impossible.

" You at least owe me an explanation as to why you tried to kill Richard ... "
I paused before adding .
" Please ? "

His lips pulled upward into a shit eating grin . I regretted being respectful and have manners .

" Well , since you asked so lovely I think you do deserve answers . "

I cocked my head and waited.
" I wasn't the cause of your ... Richards former condition but ..."
I raised my eyebrow .
" ... But I do know who did it . "

That made me shudder .
" Who ? "
He took the opportunity to caress the side of my face. I didn't care about that I wanted to know who hurt Richard .

" Lucifer ... Who nearly killed Richard ? "
He nodded his head then spoke .
" He's one of my dearest Family members . "
Damn.
Now I want to kill whoever it was even more since he was related to Lucifer.

" Tell me . "
I needed to know.

" His name is Finch , Well actually he's basically a Finch . He can multiply himself around the world . In this day and age there is about five thousand duplicates of him . "
I nodded .

I was about to ask Lucifer why he did it when I noticed he was spaced out . Focusing on my crown.

Shit .
My head hurt but it didn't feel exactly like how it hurt when I had the Tremors .

" Lucifer ... My ... "
He cut me off.
" I know . I can see them . "
He was smirking so I compelled my hand to feel my forehead .

I felt something solid pushing against the skin then my finger poked something sharp .
My hand recoiled in pain .

" Dammit ! "
I looked down at my finger and it was bleeding .
" What is on my head ? "

I already knew what it was but I needed to know from him , just to see if I wasn't crazy.

" Wait . "
I opened my mouth to asked why but he was already across the room and started searching for something.
" What are you looking for ? "
" A Mirror , Little one . "

I shivered at the mention of the nickname Faven gave me .
" Ah ha ! Found the bugger ! "
I saw him pull a pocket mirror out of nowhere .
I frowned.
" Uhm , Lucifer , that's too small... "
My voice drifted away as I watched in shock and wonder .
The mirror began to grow .

It showed my face at first but then it kept on growing and that is how I got the first glance at my head growth .

" They're beautiful . "

I had never seen such things in my life .
" My ... Horns . "

Faven ...

" Calm down Faven . "
I glared at him .
" The fuck I'll calm down ! The Fucking Devil just took our human ! And all we can damn well fucking do is sit around and wait for the mother-asshole upstairs to help ! "
Richard was healed thanks to her and all he could do is lounge around waiting for his master to help him .

" I'm sure she's ... "
I growled at him through clenched teeth .
My canines wanted to be let out , so did my horns .

A pang of sadness pinched at my heart .

Wings .
I didn't have any , only females do . Lucky bitches .

" Alright ! What would you like me to do ? "
I smirk darkly .
" No. I will not Faven ! "

I shook my head as I let a fake breath out , I didn't need to breath . The undead never do .

She needed me and I could not be there for her .
Shit .
Fuck it , I'm going to get her .

" Faven ? "
I walk away and out of Coco's house before I knew what I was doing , I summoned Lucifer .

" Baluné Exumerè Lucifér ! "
Come to me you bastard !

I touched my new horns carefully as not to cut myself again .

Lucifer was right . they were beautiful .
Dark black horns that curled on either side of my head .

I looked badass .
I laughed . For no reason at all .

" wow . "
Lucifer drew my attention back to him by coughing .
" I have to go back to earth ... Business as usual . You are welcome to look around hell and torture some souls but dont open any doors . Alright ? "

I nodded and went back to looking at my reflection .

Poof. He was gone .

I was left caressing my new headgear and wondering whether it was going to hurt , when I got my wings , like getting the horns or would it be worse ?

I hoped not .
