When Shadow used Chaos Control they were back at Sonic's house. Sonic was really exhausted from the training and was breathing heavy "Are you that exhausted from the training Sonic?" Shadow asked and Sonic nodded his head. So Shadow laid Sonic down on the couch and went upstairs to the bathroom to get a towel and went back downstairs and got to the kitchen and put the towel under the tap to make it wet. He then walked back to Sonic and put the now wet towel over Sonic's head and back "Here, so your body came cool down a bit" Shadow said and Sonic took a hold of the towel and went closer to Shadow. "What are you doing?" Shadow asked and Sonic laid his head on Shadow's lap which made Shadow blush a little "I like when you're near me Shad and thanks for the training. I feel a lot stronger already" Sonic said. "You don't have to thank me it was you who did a very good job, you just kept on going. I really am proud of you" Shadow said and started to stroke Sonic's quills and he started to purr. Later they were both fast asleep on the couch with Shadow's arm around Sonic so he wouldn't fall of the couch. "Look how cute they look together" a male said "Those two make a good couple y'know" a other male said. Then the two males left and went to the mall where Tails, Amy, Blaze, Rouge and Knuckles were waiting for the two males. It was Silver and Mephiles that were spying on Sonic and Shadow. "So how is he doing?" Rouge asked "Well you see, he has Shadow as company and they were sleeping together on the couch" Silver said and Rouge, Blaze and Amy started giggling. "Looks like he continues his life and got over you Amy" Blaze said and Amy looked sad "Aah, don't look so sad Amy. You and Sonic were not destined to be together" Rouge said and Amy nodded her head and started smiling.

Tails's pov

It was almost Sonic's birthday and we are going to buy him a birthday present(s) and some decorations. The girls were going to buy the decorations, while the guys and I were going to look for a birthday present(s). We walked to the game store and searched there for a video game, but found nothing that Sonic would like, so we went on to the next store and this was a music store. I looked in the window of the store and saw a beautiful guitar "Hey guys, I think I found Sonic's present. I know he loves music and guitars, so why don't we give him his own guitar?" I said. The other guys looked at each other and nodded. So I went into the music store and bought the guitar with a guitar case. "Is there something else Sonic might want to have? He is most of the time alone now" Mephiles said and Silver was standing in front of a animal store and saw a cute Chao. "Hey look you guys. Isn't this little guy cute or what? I think I'm going to buy it for Sonic. He is going to love his present" Silver said. So Silver and Mephiles went inside the animal store and bought the Chao Silver saw in the animal store's window. After this me went to go look for the girls and found them in the clothing store fitting clothes. "Do you girls bought where we came for yet? Knuckles asked and Rouge looked up at him then walked to his side and hugged Knuckles from behind "Yes we have handsome. What did you guys get for Blue?" Rouge asked. "We got him a beautiful guitar and a super cute house pet. Hey Silver, let the girls see what you and Mephiles got for Sonic" I asked. Then Silver let the girls see what they got for Sonic's birthday " Aaahhh it is super cute" Amy said. "Did you think of a name for it yet?" Blaze asked. "No because we want Sonic to give it a name" Mephiles said and the girls nodded. Later we all went to my house to store everything and wait until Sonic's birthday.

Shadow's pov

I was slowly waking up and wanted to stand up when I felt something on my lap and it was Sonic who was still sleeping. It was really adorable to see how he was sleeping.
