Sonic's awakening

Normal pov

Shadow brought Sonic to the hospital and was put on a stretcher directly into surgery. Shadow and everyone else were waiting in the waiting room for Sonic to come out of surgery. After 2 hours of waiting Shadow was loosing his patience and started walking into circles. "Honey, please try to calm down. He's going to be alright." Rouge said and Shadow start to calm down but not completely. Then when 10 more minutes has past the doctor came out of the surgery room and some nurses brought Sonic to his room to recover. "Friends or family of Sonic the Hedgehog?" the doctor asked. Shadow walked to the doctor and asked him "Is he going to be alright doctor?" Then the doctor made a sad face. "He is going to be alright, but he has to stay here for a couple of weeks to recover. We almost lost him during the surgery. He had many cuts and bruises all over his body. But we managed for the surgery to be a success. The nurses brought him to his room so he can rest" the doctor said. "Can we see him now?" Tails asked. The doctor just nodded his head and called a nurse to bring them to Sonic's room. "Everyone follow me, but be quiet please. He is still a little bit weak" the nurse said. All of them nodded their head and started to follow the nurse to Sonic's room.

When they came to room 525 they saw Sonic laying on the hospital bed in a hospital gown with many bandages all over his body. He had bandages on both his arms and legs and his head and a big one around his chest. He was put on the oxygen for safety and a heart monitor. Sonic had his eyes still closed and was breathing very peacefully.

Shadow's pov

When we all came to Sonic's room I saw him laying down on the hospital bed. I couldn't belief how this could've happened. But we will know the reason when he wakes up. I walked to the chair right next to his bed and put my hand on his. Everyone else was looking weird at me for doing that. "Hope you are fully recovered soon. I can't be alone without you for long" I said only for Sonic and me to hear, if he could hear me or not. Tails had tears in his eyes and Blaze was comforting him. "I think it's time we go and give Sonic his time to recover. We also need to clean up and restore the damage that Eggman has made" Blaze said. Everyone nodded except me. I didn't want to leave his side already, I wanted to stay just a little bit longer. Rouge came to my side and laid a hand on my shoulder. "We need to leave now Shadow, so that Blue can rest and recover" Rouge said. After that said I nodded my head and stood up and walked towards the door. I turned around and looked at Sonic just one more time and went out of the hospital with everyone else.

Silver's pov

We just came out of the hospital and were heading to Sonic's house to clean up Eggman's mess. Sonic's house was badly damaged and needed allot of repairs thanks to the fight with Eggman's robots. When we were cleaning all the leftovers from the robots Mephiles came walking up to me. "I hope Sonic is going to be OK. How are you after the battle with Eggman's robots? You're not hurt are you?" Mephiles asked. "No I'm alright. It's Sonic I am worried about. He has never been badly wounded like this in a while. I also am asking myself what has happened to Sonic to lose his focus in the battle. Something tells me he wasn't himself. I wonder what is wrong?" I said to Mephiles. He agreed with me that there was something wrong about him, but we didn't know what. Then we went back on cleaning up all the robot parts.

Tails pov

All of us were helping to clean up the robot parts that were left. I looked at Amy who was also cleaning up together with Blaze. This was most of all her fault. If she hasn't broke up and cheated on Sonic this wouldn't have happened and Sonic wouldn't be in the hospital right now. I am really so mad at her and I hope she realize what she did wrong and that she knows that Sonic still loved her when she dumped him. I guess not anymore now. Knuckles was helping me with Sonic's house. It really was a mess thanks to the robots. The house was in bad shape and was going to collapse if we didn't do something quick. So we put some big poles to sustain the house from collapsing. We went inside to get most of Sonic's furniture out of the house to give the house a huge makeover. For the heavy stuff I needed Shadow's help as well . "Hey Shadow can you help us with the heavy stuff? Were going to give Sonic's house a huge makeover as surprise when gets out of the hospital" I said. Shadow was busy cleaning together with Rouge. Those two are always together. Is it not with there work then they will in there free time. Both of them looked at me and started to walk my way. "With what do you need my help fox boy?" Shadow asked. "I need you help with the heavy stuff like the couch, closet, bookcase, his bed, writing desk. You wanna help us with that?" I asked Shadow. "Sure he is going to help you with that. I am also gonna help you by putting the little stuff in a box and then out of the house. Isn't that right hun?" Rouge said. "Yeah sure, I like to help others" Shadow said in a sarcastic way. I yelled to Knuckles that Shadow was going to help him. "OK fine by me" Knuckles yelled back. When the others were done with cleaning up the robot parts, they all came to help to get the house empty. When the house was totally empty we brought all of Sonic's stuff to my house temporarily until his house had his makeover, then we will put all his stuff back to it's place.
