Ever see those relationships where you just can't see them ever breaking up? That's what everyone thought of Evan and Connor's relationship.

No one could ever predict how they could ever end, for they seemed perfect together, like some cliche puzzle pieces. Jared Jared to admit it, but he couldn't help feeling jealous of the perfect relationship they had.

Of course, everyone was astounded when they broke up, or rather, Connor broke up with Evan.

Connor walked up to his boyfriend, a different look on his face,
"Hey Ev, I have to tell you something."

Evan smiled at him and asked,
"What is it, Con?"

Connor glanced off with guilt,
"Evan, I just don't feel the... spark anymore. I can't keep lying to myself and you, because I just don't love you anymore. You're such a sweet boy, and you deserve someone who will treat you right, and say that they love you, meaning it too. Don't let me hold you down."

Evan felt his heart ache as he tried to form a sentence, but words failed him.

Connor felt his eyes fill up with tears that he refused to let fall. He felt extremely terrible, but he knew that it was for the best.

He just awkwardly patted his ex-boyfriend's shoulder and he turned, walking away.

Evan stood there for a solid eleven minutes before breaking down and sprinting to where he knew he would find comfort.

He headed towards Jared's house, his phone now ringing Jared's number.

"Hello?"
"H- Jare... y- hom..e?"

Evan was still crying, which was evidently his shaky voice.

"Yeah? Are you alright?"

Evan just sniffles and shook his head 'no', not thinking about how Jared can't see him.

"Just come on over, my uncle isn't home right now and the door is unlocked."

Evan kept sprinting and sobbing until he stumbled up the front steps, about to collapse on the doormat, when Jared suddenly opened the door.

He caught Evan and helped him inside.

Worry flooded Jared and he asked Evan what was wrong.
Evan could not answer, so Jared decided that it was best to let him calm down first.

He got a flooffy blanket and a myriad of tissues, comforting the sobbing boy.

Evan, after going through plenty tissues, calmed down and spoke, still shaky,
"I-I...he b-broke up...me."

Evan felt like breaking down all over again. Jared realized what Evan meant and hugged him,
"Shhhh...deep breaths Evan. I'll get the ice cream in just a sec."

Evan nodded and whimpered adorab- cutel- quietly. Jared got up and got a tub of ice cream and two spoons, for he would never pass up on ice cream, even if he was not the sad one.

Evan and Jared snoogled on the couch, cronching on moose tracks ice cream all night, just finding comfort in each other's presence.

Connor smiled to himself as he drifted off into a peaceful sleep, knowing that Evan would be alright.
