Shuichi's detective work had got him this far. A hidden door with what it seemed to be an automatic lock on it. This had to be where the mastermind was hiding, it just had to be. If he found the mastermind, then this horrible game would be over. He knew it. Behind these doors was them.
Could it really be one of his friends? No. Its Not possible. Regretfully, he had taken quite a liking to the people he was stuck with and honestly, would be heartbroken if inside these doors was one of them. He placed one hand on the door but was nervous about opening it. Whoever it is, I know them and I trust them. He took a deep breath and applied more force to his hand to open the door. "What if it's Kaito, Keebo, Kokichi, Maki, Himiko or..." his heart sunk as he knew it had to be one of them.
He took a deep breath and opened the door.
"No."
And with that, everything shattered.
