"Really? Oh my gosh do you have a ring?", I asked excitledly
"No not yet I want to make sure she love me and then I'll buy the ring. But I'm nervous though"
"I understand why you'd be nervous, but at least y'all are getting along more now and she's not hiding the fact that she like you"
"Yeah, cause before she had that bad. But I know how y'all are religious and everything so I want to do everything the right way"
"Most definitely so how do you want to ask her?"
"Well I want to ask your father for his daughter's hand but I know y'all don't have the best relationship with him, so I'm going to ask your mom"
"That would be a smarter idea and you already know what you have to do to get a yes from her sir"
"I know. I mean I don't mind getting saved but at the same time I don't want to be a hypocrite because I love the life I live. I like being able to provide, and how am I supposed to provide with a dead end job?"
"You're smart, you graduated high school top of your class. You can definitely go to college, you have the money to pay for it, and you always said football is life so be on the football team and try to get into the NFL"
"That actually don't sound to bad. Thanks sis you know anybody would be lucky to have you because I'm lucky to have you as a sister", he said hugging me.
"Awe thanks bro-in-law", I said hugging him back.
We went back in the house and I helped my mom put the rest of the food up and I went into my room to lay down and watch a movie.
"Hey girl what you in here doing?", Demetria asked coming in changing out of her church clothes
"Nothing just watching a movie. What are you about to do?"
"I'm about to do something I didn't think I would do"
"And what is that?"
"I'm going out with Le'Ron"
"I told you y'all would", I said smiling. "Where are you guys going?"
"It's not even like that, I just need help moving and he said he'll help me with my new place if I go out with him. And we're going to the movies"
"Awe and part of the reason is because you want to go"
"Nope none of that but we'll see how this goes", she said grabbing her purse.
"I guess we will. Stay safe ma'am"

After she left I went back to my movie until someone knocked on my door.
"Come in"
"Hey sis what you doing?", Kayla asked coming in.
"Just watching a movie. What you need?"
"I need advice"
"Okay what's going on?", I asked
"Well I have a boyfriend and I think he wants to go further in out relationship. I mean he's bringing up sex and I'm not ready. I want to wait until I'm married but if I tell him what if he won't want anything to do with me"
"I understand that but you'll find somebody that will understand what you're going through and will accept your decision. If he don't accept you not having sex until you're married, then he isn't for you"
"Okay thanks sis", she said giving me a hug.
