When I woke up from my nap I was so peaceful. It was so quiet and I enjoyed it. I got up from the couch seeing if Kayla texting me back when I heard the tv on in her room. I walked to her room and she was in her room laying down.
"Kayla when you get home?"
"I just got home"
"How you get here?"
"Keondre dropped me off"
"Why didn't you call me I could've came and got you"
"He said he wanted to talk to you about something"
"About what?"
"Me and you", I turned around and he was standing behind me
"There is no me and you Keondre. You've been living your life for these two months and you can live longer"
"Can we just talk please?", he looked like he was about to break down so I just agreed and we went to the patio in the backyard.
"What Keondre?"
"LaLani from the bottom of my heart I want to apologize to you. I put you in danger and those weren't my intentions. I just loved having you around all the time. I took advantage of you and I really am sorry for that"
"Okay Keondre I accept your apology. I forgave you long ago but I won't be in that position again. I was far away from home on an island in the middle of mess. I would never do that to anyone, but on top of that you knew what you were doing. You knew I wouldn't have said yes if you'd had ask me straight up so you took my kindness for granted and I will never trust you again. Because this wasn't just the first time, you did that when we were in New York as well. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice it's a done deal. I don't want anything to do with you and I mean that with everything in me"
"LaLa please don't say that, I love you", he had tears rolling down his face and that surprised me. I wasnt expect him to cry like that.
"Do you even love yourself?"
"Yes I do, I've been crying everyday without you. I miss you coming over to the house, I miss laughing with you, I miss everything about you. I've never had this feeling with anybody before. You're for me and I want to prove to you that I'm for you. I'll do whatever it takes to keep you here with me"
"Keondre just go and live your life. I have enough going on without you okay", I got up from my seat and I went back in the house but he just stayed in the chair crying harder than before.
I walked to the bathroom and I didn't even notice that I was crying. I wiped my tears away and I went to lock the back door but he was still out there. I just looked at him and he was crying like he'd lost the most valuable thing he owned.
He started getting up and he saw me looking at him. I backed up so he could come in the house and I stepped to the side.
"I'm sorry LaLa, this wasn't supposed to happen like this", he grabbed my cheeks lightly walking me to the wall and he kissed my lips softly. "Everything I need to do to have you back on my team is what I will do", he let me go and walked out the front door wiping his face.
"What was that about?", Kayla asked coming in the kitchen
"I don't know. I've never seen him cry before that's weird"
"He don't cry. We were talking about that today at the party. His mom said she hasn't seen him cry since he was a baby. He didn't even cry when he would get hurt, like if he fell off a bike or something he never cried. When someone in their family died he still never cried so it's weird seeing him cry"
