LALANI'S POV
"Lalani come on we're going to Josh's bar-b-que, hurry up and get dressed", my sister Lili told me opening my room door.
"Okay I just need to get dressed and I'll be down"
"Okay hurry up"
When she closed my door I put on a cute pink and yellow sundress to go over my swim suit. I have long dark brown hair that goes to the middle of my back and I just put my hair up in a ponytail. I'm mixed with Mexican and black but I'm more Mexican than anything. I put on some light pink lipgloss and my yellow sandals and I went downstairs.
"Finally you ready, let's go. Bye mom", my sister said when I came downstairs.
"Bye, tell Josh I said hi"
"Okay", we got in her car and we drove to Josh's. Joshua my best friend. We're only friends, we've been knowing each other since the 3rd grade. He was having a BBQ at his new house so we could see it and all chill
25 MINUTES LATER
"Hey LaLa, hey Lily y'all like the new place?", Josh asked us when we walked inside.
"Oh my gosh yes, it's so big though. Are you sure you the only one living here?", I asked hugging him.
"Naw just for now. What's up Lily, how you doing ma?"
"I'm chill Josh. So who's all here?"
"Just a couple of my close friends. Come on my boy Keondre just moved here from Atlanta and I want y'all to meet him"
We walked outside to the backyard and it was huge. He had a big backyard and a little kitchen with a bar and everybody was sitting there drinking fruit drinks and stuff.
"Keondre this is my friend like a little sister Lalani. LaLa this is my homebody Keondre. And this is my future baby mama Lily"
Keondre was so fine, he was black but light black but not light skin, had waves, and a beautiful smile. He had a lot of jewelry so he looked real flashy but it was a nice kind of flashy and not a I'm rich and got money so pay attention to me flashy.
"Whatever Josh, I already told you what you needed to do to get with me", she said laughing and slapping him in his chest playfully.
"Hi Lalani how you doing?, Keondre said shaking my hand.
"I'm fine"
"Yeah you are", I started blushing and smiling so hard.
"Josh now tell me what in yo right mind made you think to buy this big old house for just you?", Josh's other homeboy Booba asked.
"Actually it's not just me. My mom is moving in with me next month and my little cousins are going to be here to so I just wanted to break in the new house and have fun with my close friends before they moved in"
"Oh okay my bad", he said holding his hands up.
We all started laughing and everybody just sat there talking and waited for the food to finish. I kept on drinking the fruit punch they made, man it was so good, and no it didn't have alcohol in it.
"You gotta pee?", Josh asked looking at me crazy cause I was rocking in my chair,
"You can tell?", I asked laughing .
"Yeah, go to the bathroom and it's one downstairs somewhere"
"Thanks that helped a lot", I went in the house and I found a bathroom. I pulled my phone out walking out the bathroom on it and I ran into Keondre.
